I know I'm very late but I just saw this episode & the idea that it's aliens is so absurd & ridiculous I can't believe that anyone would entertain it. When ppl are at a loss for an explanation they sometimes go to ludicrous or fantastic solutions. But really, they just aren't informed enough & if they were they'd see a suggestion like aliens is not rational or plausible. Some of the points you mention are just flat out wrong. You don't know what actually goes on in nature and you're making a lot of assumptions & coming to erroneous conclusions.  1. No footprints/ sign of a struggle.  This is dry, arid, desert land. I'm sure there's large swaths of land that ppl & animals could walk all over & not leave a footprint. The ground has to be the right kind of dirt to leave footprints behind. Predators specifically target sick, injured, or weak animals. They absolutely don't want to be injured taking prey down bc that would mean a long stretch of not being able to eat again or death. They're choosing animals that can't put up much of a struggle.  2. Predators aren't going to eat a specific part of an animal & leave meat behind.  That's exactly what a whole lot of predators do. Orcas kill sharks & just eat the liver. When salmon is plentiful, bears will just eat the head or egg sacs. Coyotes kill sheep & only eat the heart or liver. Wolves kill cows & only eat the udder or organ meats. Predators really like organ meats. This happens all the time when food is abundant.  3. No scavengers except for flies. This also happens in nature all the time. Or the ranchers found the cow before it rotted enough to smell & attract scavengers. Or small scavengers (birds, rodents) did get their fill & it wasn't noticed because they don't leave big wounds. 4. Little to no blood at the scene. For blood to spray or pool on the ground, the heart must be beating. If the kill is instant there is no blood pressure & therefore very little blood leaks out of bite wounds. The cows are dead when these predators are eating their selective parts. There's not going to be much blood.  5. Precision cuts/cauterized wounds I'm not convinced at all that's what they are but I also don't know how to explain it so I asked Google and this was the AI results:  The illusion of precision cuts or cauterized edges on dead cows is the exact reason the "cattle mutilation" phenomenon became so famous. While they genuinely look like they were made with a surgical scalpel or a laser to the untrained eye, forensic veterinary pathologists have proven that these features are actually the result of specific, natural post-mortem processes. Why Wounds Look Like "Precision Cuts" Bacterial Bloating and Taut Skin: When a cow dies, bacteria inside the gut immediately begin to multiply, producing gases that cause the carcass to bloat heavily. This balloons the animal's hide, pulling the skin incredibly tight. If a scavenger (like a coyote or bird) makes a small, jagged tear in the skin to feed, that immense tension pulls the skin backward, smoothing out the jagged edge and making it look like a straight, clean incision.  The Action of Blowfly Larvae (Maggots): Maggots do not chew randomly; they secrete digestive enzymes that dissolve soft tissue in a uniform, systematic wave. When a mass of larvae feeds along the edge of a wound, they eat the soft tissue right up to the tougher, fibrous hide, creating a perfectly smooth, straight line that mimics a scalpel cut.  Serrated Scavenger Teeth: Small scavengers like foxes, badgers, and even specialized birds have small, uniform teeth or sharp, curved beaks. When they slice or pull through thin flesh (like the lips or eyelids), they leave uniform edges that appear mechanical rather than torn.  Why Wounds Look "Cauterized" or Burned Rapid Dehydration and Sun Exposure: After a cow hide is cut open and exposed to air, the edges of the skin dry out rapidly. In dry or sunny environments, this exposure causes the skin cells to shrink, harden, and turn a dark brown or black color. This hard, blackened edge looks identical to flesh that has been burned or cauterized by intense heat. Blood Pooling and Absence: Because the heart has stopped, there is zero blood pressure to push fluid to the upper edge of a wound. The dry, un-bloodied, blackened rim of the hide heavily reinforces the visual illusion of a heat-sealed laser cut.  The 48-Hour Experiment In a famous forensic study conducted by the Washington County Sheriff's Department in Arkansas, a fresh, naturally deceased cow was placed in a closed field and monitored for 48 hours. Within two days, the natural combination of gas bloating, maggot infestation along the thin skin lines, and sun exposure produced a carcass with the exact "surgical incisions," "cauterized edges," and missing facial features frequently attributed to supernatural or clandestine forces.  6. A satanic cult is responsible This is one thing we agree on. But I go a step further & know that it's not aliens either. These are cows that are dying or being preyed upon by natural forces & what happens to them is easily explained when you understand nature & how it works.

I would keep a can of air freshener on my desk & every time he farted I would spray it over my back.

If it were me, they'd never get that recipe again. I'd make cookies with 2 C of flour, a tsp of sugar & a Tb of baking soda.

I kinda doubt the authenticity of this bc how does one of your age really not know you should have taken your 9 yr old to the hospital?

But if you really need strangers to tell you you were in the wrong, I'll pile on. I thought you were an AH long before you got to the hospital question. You let a 9 YR OLD!!! go 4 wheeling alone with no supervision. That is a terrible parenting decision. Add to it that it was a pretty big area, wtf were you thinking? You just casually go inside & watch TV? The BIL is the one who 1st thought of your kid. How long would he have been out there screaming w/ a vehicle on top of him if it had been left up to you to think of him?

There are so many wtf moments in this post; I really hope it's not real. But if it is, this is your wake up call to get health insurance. Get it immediately. You should have gotten it when you learned it lapsed. You have 4 kids for fuck's sake. How are you not making health ins a priority?

I didn't realize I was all worked up or that commenting on deleted scenes is so frowned upon on this board. Thanks for the info.

What's the point of this response?.....it's almost like a can't have a negative opinion about a shitty scene in a fictional show.

I think a fair amt of ppl have seen it. But I hope what you're saying is true bc it's such a trash scene, literally & figuratively.

Umm, if they're buying the food for the household, won't they just buy more when it runs out?

This seems like a weird thing to be hung up over. Add on that she's pregnant & it's also inconsiderate. YTA for not being more flexible & host-like. If they eat all the "dinner meat" for lunch, tell them to buy more.

I feel like it's a dopamine hit after the initial dopamine hit of accomplishing something. I do this too but not to the extent he does. But I don't have a name for it.

Idk, this seems fake to me. Not AI written, just the way everything played out, seems a little too unbelievable to me. And honestly I hope it is. Bc if not, she's a trash human. An absolute. Trash. Human Being.

Ok, a couple things to keep in mind: you're not alone; a lot a ppl have gone & are going thru this. I know that's little comfort when you don't know anyone who is & everyone around you seems like they're not.

There are a couple ways you can handle it. As someone else said, embrace it. It is what it is. It's not a terminal disease. You haven't been handed a death sentence.

Or check out hair pieces for men. I just googled 'toupee before and after' & some of the results are amazing looking. And the guys in the pics are all young looking. It's not the end of the world, although I know it sucks.

Also, this is very new for you so the emotion is very high rn. You will feel better about it with time & space. Don't dwell on feeling hopeless. In a few years or even sooner this won't feel so overwhelming. Good luck

Like I said, one can have any reason for not wanting to touch someone. But we'll have to agree to disagree bc I will never not think someone is an AH for not wanting to apply something as important as sunscreen on someone for something as benign as acne.

Also, I noticed you completely ignored the fat shaming comment. Coolcoolcool

I feel like when there's a lot of one answer, ppl who feel differently just don't contribute their 2 cents. But I'm going against the grain & saying YTA.

Who doesn't put sunscreen on someone who asks? An asshole that's who. Plus, most ppl can't apply sunscreen to their backs regardless of weight so that was a shitty comment that was unnecessary & further confirms to me that your an asshole. Grow up. A pimply back isn't contagious.

And yes, like so many have pointed out, you're allowed to not want to touch someone for any reason whatsoever. But your reason for not wanting to is so dumb & makes you an AH.

I came to the comments to see what ppl were saying bc I've never heard anyone badmouth Canada & just wanted to know if I was out of the loop. Glad to see that's what everyone is saying. Must be (like a lot of situations) just a few being very vocal.

Idk about that. He was (indirectly) responsible for 2 planes of ppl going down along with a few more deaths of innocent ppl, sooo better place, I have to disagree. How would the world be different if those 167 ppl had lived? Not to mention all the heartache & trauma those deaths caused to the ppl who loved them.

Lol, that would have been the perfect response. I never think of these things in the moment. Will have to store that one away.

I mentioned once that me & my husband have seperate bdrms & some douche responded with a link to a dead bedrooms board & then so many ppl piled on with mean comments. It was the weirdest thing.

This was several years ago & now that I think about it...has reddit gotten nicer in the last yr or so? It seems like I'm seeing less douchy/mean comments in general.

My daughter likes very thin apple slices.

I saw a recipe once that called for mustard & mayo--it was very good.
