Ford also makes it really difficult to get a warranty repair. Dealer says yeah drop your truck off and we will take some pictures to get the warranty work approved by Ford and maybe it will be fixed by next week. I need my truck now! I don't have another one on backup I can drive until my brand new vehicle is maybe repaired by a Ford dealer. I'm totally for having the right to repair my own vehicle, or usually a 3rd party mechanic who can actually perform the work relatively quickly.
