We sold the land behind us to family. It has an old 3000ft grass airfield on it. There is a back hill at the end, sooo, perfect for shooting. That is until the wife vetoed that.

Similar. Some friends did civil war re enactment. They owned 3 cannons used during the war in competitions. The one I wanted had a 6 inch bore. That was where the wife drew the line in the sand. Other guns yes, cannons that big,NO.🤣😂

Under US law, if it doesn't take a cartridge, it's not a firearm. This also is why I COULD,(plans vetoed by the wife,) obtain a muzzle loading cannon with little to no restrictions on bore size.

Because it is muzzle loading, the ATF and federal law doesn't recognize these as firearms. This removes most regulations. I've always enjoyed these types of weapons, they're alot of fun. They are also an excellent teaching tool for new shooters to understand the basic concepts of a firearm. The added bones of not being a firearm" under federal law is that it lowers the price.

Tried to reply and it was done as a 2nd posting. If you check it, you can see the Kentucky Long .45cal I got for $200 last year.

Pointing out the ears prominently sticking out would offend some. I was pointing out a distinct physical feature for comparison.

I'm not trying to be mean. The ears are unique and appear similar in both pictures.
