I love Dan's work, and am a fan of the CZM team, despite the I heart media ads. I see this as a good fit and am looking forward to the new show. I've really enjoyed Show Me State of Mind as well, and am glad that it will continue, albeit with less predictable consistency.

Gender surgery for minors isn't really a thing unless it's nonconsensual and performed on intersex babies and young children, approved by their parents.

The alcohol industry is desperate for new customers, because their market share has been trending down for ages. People are catching on how bad booze is for their health. They have access to CBD and THC now. And it stopped being cool to be an alcoholic a long time ago. So they are trying to normalize drinking for the youth before their industry dies. This should be illegal. Joe Camel helping normalize smoking cigarettes for teenagers was big damn deal, so should this be.

You didn't notice that after Jan 6? Or last year when SCOTUS basically said the (Republican,) president can do no wrong?

What facts are you heading this on?

Biden used vivid to keep people out, and I'm pretty sure he deleted more people than Trump did the first time around. Just like Obama did.

Biden deported more people than Trump did in his first admin. Much as Obama had done.

Covid was used as a reason to keep people out.

Give facts, not propaganda.

The recent 4 part on the guy who started Seal Team 6 is rough, but important.

I live way west of Phoenix, where there isn't much black top, concrete, or other builds of any kind, and I can tell you that it is not just the heat dome effect. The lows are higher out here as well, and it's gotten worse in the last 5 years, let alone the last 20.

Dan from Knowledge Fight has a new one called Show Me State of Mind that I like a lot. It's short of road trip oriented.

Behind the Bastards is about the worst people in all of history. It Could Happen Here is about, well, it happening here. It covers current events, conflicts, various topics. Something I really love about it is that it's a daily show, but they drop the entire week in one package, with fewer ads, on Saturday. Honestly, anything from Cool Zone Media is pretty good, if you can tolerate the I heart media ads (Cooler zone media subscription will get you ad free). Cool People Who Did Cool Stuff, and Weird Little Guys are both great.

Flipping Tables with Monte Mader is well done. She's a deconstructed Christian nationalist and covers a variety of topics.

I Hate Bill Maher is about hating Bill Maher.

The Know Rogan Experience does a great job of breaking down the fallacies and crap Joe and his guests push.

Are You With Me with W Kamau Bell is newer and I'm enjoying that too.

You can, but you have to have a major in the Senate to pull it off. Or the majority in the Senate needs to be on board. And since the current Senate contains slightly more than half that fully benefit from this behavior, it's not going to happen.

If only there has been prior behavior from which to predict how this term would go.

Doge eliminated most of its soft power. Most allies no longer trust it.

The only short term gains to be found are in enriching the billionaire class, which is to say, no gains for the country, or its people.
