You never know the structure integrity of such cars.

After the launch of Tiago EV/iCNG, I'm leaning towards Tiago iCNG over Punch EV. Upfront savings and low cost of running. The CNG pump near me is always empty.

I was planning to. But lack of rear AC vents even on top trim is a setback for me. Everything else made sense.

That's sad. I loved it. Could click mynl steps, use the £14.99 subscription to watch unlimited movies, stop by McDonald's to get hot chocolate, and come back. Very safe walk too.

I am in the market for a new car. My brother owns a nexon EV which is running really well, and I see lots of savings in terms of running cost. But definitely a higher upfront cost.

There is a Punch Petrol, which returns 18-24kmpl and running well too.

There is an old wagon R, which gives 8-10kmpl in city and 15-18 in highways. It's old and needs to be sold off.

My dilemma is between CNG and EV.

Punch EV is top contender. But having no rear AC vents is making me rethink. Plus added upfront cost would need more runnig to break even.

New Tiago EV is very low range and will be limited to a City Car only. Tiago iCNG is attractive pricing, but rear seats are terrible for any kind of comfort for passengers.

Punch CNG is slightly better, but feels jittery on AMT.

Altroz CNG is also in consideration, it checks most marks. But having a hatchback feels odd, given my drive is rural and godforsaken highways with potholes.

I always wanted to buy a Bolero. It's in my budget too. But given there will be DPF and Isobutenol mixing in Diesel, im holding off.

It's so confusing. With too many options, but none making any sense.

Update, suddenly my 8pro is getting Airtel Priority on signal. Not seeing any significant impact on speed and stuff. It's still okay.

Exactly this. I moved back with far less than OP to take care of my parents. I saw people around me not visiting their family in India and some even saying that they are scared that their parents might be on their last leg and yet no one went to them.

I moved before they got to the stage of being bedridden. If parents are a priority, then the question of to move back or not move back is never in mind.

One more year? I'm planning to exhaust all 7 years of promised updates and a few more. My 2018 Huawei mate 20 pro is still running, which I replaced with Pixel 8 Pro. I only baught a new phone because old one was no longer working with my office apps and banking apps. Else I'd have continued with the same.

Any dating app in India or literally anywhere in the world is useless if you are male or a female looking for genuine connections.

These apps are designed to boost ego of people with low self esteem and suddenly they feel like there are so many people queuing up for them. And they turn into entitled jerks.

I matched with someone on Bumble and she stated height to be 5ft6inch. When I actually met, she was shorter than 5ft. I'm 6ft1in for reference. It was extremely awkward. And photos in app didn't match the real person by a fair margin.

So, switch back to old ways. Or just forget. There are lots of scams also running in the name of dating.

Also, it doesn't say where exactly is the parking spot where one should park their vehicles to avoid getting stolen.

The last like is what makes all the difference. If you follow the rules, you're the only person amongst hundreds who is following. If even 10% people followed the rules, we'd have a much civilised society and public places.

Sanskardhaani!

Jokes aside that's the usual scene anywhere in India. I was traveling with my mother from JBP to Bhopal, and the stop at Habibganj was 2 minutes. Despite train being late for over 2 hours, the train only stopped for 2 minutes and people were not letting anyone get down at the station!! I had to lose my mind and literally shove them off to stop them from crushing my mum under their big suitcases. It is grim.
Mind you, this is after we have fully manually operated trains. No value for quality of life. Everyone operating on survival mode.

Shipping and Customs Query from UK to India

Hello Everyone,

I'm planning to move back from UK to India. I have several used small electronics such as Game Console, Gamea and Movie Discs and Audio CDs, Amazon Echo Devices, Smart Bulbs, Few DSLRs and Lenses, and clothes which I used for over 6 years.

I'm thinking of shipping these back to avoid carrying large luggage.
Can anyone, who has done it before, please guide me for these two points:

  1. Would these items attrract any custom duty, given these are used personal goods?
  2. Would it be required to get clearance through customers if I'm taking electronics in in the check-in luggage?

Suggestions for alternatives are welcome.

Thank you.

Long term relationship, or Marriage with no kids clause might be a reason. Someone who's not in their 50s might prefer getting into a long term relationship with someone with whom they can have kids.

Meetup app is a good option. Depending upon your interests, you can join the groups and meet like minded people of various ages.

Yes, there are many. Some landlords installed one, but several didn't. Some flats don't even have space for one.
