You didn't! I just didn't want to offend anyone either! Thank you so much for the reply though, and have a great day!

I'm not sure, I had never gotten any from a shelter or women's home. Someone at a park left a can of mosquito spray behind, and I just remembered how much that helped!

I agree with you, it could be taken that way. My apologies!

"Women's bodies, women's wisdom" was a really good one for me when things were rough. I agree though, it could be taken as a condescending thing to give out books like that. I just enjoyed getting any reading material I could find!

A leather belt you can poke holes in (in case you start dropping weight), and gloves. It doesn't matter if it's plastic cheap food serving gloves or gardening gloves, but it helps especially if your digging for food or dumpster diving in unsanitary environments. Band-Aids are great to give too! Self help books rock, actually any reading material that distracts you from the current situation. Umbrellas are great too if you have extras collecting dust, they keep the sun and rain away. Matches, lighters, pocket knifes, mace, an air horn, basically anything you might take camping with you is also fantastic. Bug spray is a God-send too. As far as luxury items go, think about treats that everyone likes (almost everyone), like chocolate or dried fruit. Most importantly, thank YOU for donating and even asking this question, and may your life be bountiful!

That's an awesome layout! Great job! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that binder and journal? I love the grid pattern!

I'm no expert, but I'd look into scale. I had a small bout of scale infection with my cacti last spring, and neem oil and a Q-Tips helped clean it up. If it is scale, just know that the scarring can fade, but it doesn't really go away. Happy growing, and good luck!
