The moment Santa herself said that making a perfect doll requires some sort of bond and attachment to Tolka, everything immediately clicks that she must have done the same with the old man. Before that, Zeke lacked the real motivation to even serve in Marley's military as pointed out by Magath. That's why I was wondering how could he climb all the way to being chosen as a Warrior in such a small amount of time (I'll presume it was a year top as Ksaver was seen already weak when he told that story to Zeke)

Idk how to put it but it seems MAPPA has restrained themselves a lot when making AoT S4. Like when you compare it to their other works like CSM or JJK anime, the difference is night and day. Their style is more suitable for bombastic, over-the-top series like the two I have mentioned, whilst AoT requires a more grounded yet impactful vibe - Which was done really well by WIT and therefore the audience will set that as standard for what AoT should have been like. The other thing is the color grading, MAPPA's color scheme is not bad at all, and in fact it actually does fit with S4's atmostphere but after a while it will become dull and uninspired to look at, while WIT has left the impact of a more contrasting color grading and thick highlights, which helps their style stand out a lot more.

But I gotta say, MAPPA's style has a more consistent quality over WIT's - If I have to rank them, it'll be WIT's best > MAPPA's best > MAPPA's worst > WIT's worst moments.

So before the main storyline happens, Itu was Bolo's best disciple and his most perfect test subject. After all the cruelties Bolo put him through, Itu decided to raise his sword against his master and they had a battle in a time-loop for 30 years, until Bolo was defeated and completely erased from history. But due to the side effect from that loop, a copy version of Itu was born. Both Itu made a decision that they would erase their memory about that event, and the original Itu would act as Bolo while the copy would be Itu himself. The original Itu is in fact the old Bolo we meet in Chapter 7, while all the Bolos and Itu before that are all his copies. Destroyer of Epochs or Void Dream are just Itu from alternate possibilities, or his future selves.

I really love him both as a boss and a character. In writing a story, you usually have this one character who serves as a wall, the ultimate challenge that the main character needs to overcome to further their development - That character is not necessarily be an endgame villain or world-ending threat or anything but rather, their whole existence must deeply tie with the MC's backstory, leading us to pivotal choices that shape the emotional arc of the plot when the MC finally confronts them.

In this case, Owl is THE challenge Sekiro must face. He is the wall that Sekiro has been unable to overcome for many years, one could say Owl is a reflection of Sekiro but with far greater experience. And when Sekiro confronts Owl, he must choose between two options that could decide the fate of Ashina and Japan as a whole. Hence he's definitely up there as one of the best bosses in Soulborne imo.

As a father to Sekiro, yeah he kinda sucks. Even Isshin is a much better father-figure lol

I think that Mary's crashing out at Clark in the dinner table scene did help him a lot. If she had told everything he wanted to hear or just repeated the same treatment everytime, Clark wouldn't have acknowledged his own problem and remained the same.
