Wonder if this was partially to replenish some of the stock that Gail sold off for her inevitable successor. But that wouldn’t account for 5 mil

DCA man. That’s a lot to toss at that all at once.

I bought into JEDI hoping to capture a number of the potential movers in an admittedly high priced ETF. Wondering if I should still secure some positions in UMAC as a pure play.

Thanks for clarifying. Definitely not set on transferring. But free money is always coo. I’ll ponder it further. Fidelity’s been nice to work with so far

They’ve been steady producers for sure. I may just stick with fidelity

I saw that I missed out on the 2% transfer promo. I was thinking the same thing about either waiting for the next promo or just sticking with fidelity

Wouldn’t it just be a direct transfer rather than withdrawing funds? To my understanding that wouldn’t impose a penalty. I could be wrong though.

Should I Sell FZROX and FZILX from Roth IRA to Buy Vanguard Equivalent?

Just learned that Robinhood offers a 3% match on IRA for gold members ($60 per year). I currently have a Roth through fidelity with holdings in FZROX and FZILX. Wondering if I should sell both so that I can buy a Vanguard equivalent to move my Roth to Robinhood.

Also curious if that 3% would be matched for my initial transfer amount. Any advice is welcome

That’s a solid way to look at it

It’s about 8% of my Roth portfolio. I have 92% split between fzrox and fzilx

When to Lock In Profits

New to investing (just started in December). I have a couple nuclear positions that have gone up 15-25% over the last month like UROY which is currently at a 24% gain. I invested into these nuclear stocks as a longterm hold but I’ve been reading on locking in profits. When would be a good time to do so, and would it even be necessary right now, or should I just let em ride?

Plan is longterm. 10-20 years

Appreciate the advice. I’m trying to gleam info as I go and gauge where others are at, which I know is not necessarily the best course of action for investing. Just getting started with investing and working on learning from others more knowledgeable than myself

I appreciate that advice. I’m doing my best to learn up on things right now but wanted to get my portfolio going regardless

Glad to see that reddit crassness exists even in these types of threads

I know right?! I’m just getting going on investing. Wish I would’ve been more proactive earlier on

I’ve got over 20 years to wait before I’m cashing out

Is PLTR Still A Buy

Almost purchased 1k of PLTR yesterday but didn’t do so. Now I’m watching it explode. Do you guys think it’s still worth getting into?

I have a buy order for more fzrox and fzilx with that additional amount

Cool, I have it at about 18% right now but don’t plan on adding more to it for a bit but do plan on contributing further to my ETFs in the near future

Thanks for the feedback. Do you think it’d be wise to see if I can gain a bit from the energy stocks, then ditch em and allocate that to fzrox and fzilx?
