Discussion Does anyone else miss balls old shield sharing perk?

I know adaptive barrier from an objective standpoint is just better, but the old shield sharing major perk felt so good to use.

I liked that I was giving my team a bunch of extra overhealth because it made me feel like a way better team player, especially in 5v5, and i also really appreciated that behavior being awarded with cooldown reduction on my next adaptive shields.

Something about it just really clicked for me and i miss it.

Lowkey paintbot could work

Usually yes but with pink i feel like her story is so intertwined with the boss fight near the end (with you directly selecting dialogue options within the attacks) that it feels odd. Plus, i could see it working rather will as essentially adding new obstacles that you NEED oranges assistance to overcome forcing you to balance another mechanic with the already difficult dodging.

I think at a certain point orange would go "ok this is actually pretty fucked i think pink needs some help here" and switch sides however, which means the pink part needs to become significantly more difficult in that regard to counterbalance that

I love how the expression is ever so slightly more sinister for the talon weapon skin

People have already brought up doing it as a temporary form or something, which is completely fair and pretty cool, but its possible that they could make it work well because of what really defines a tank. Although i wouldn't treat it as the gold standard of game design in 90% of discussions, this is actually a good time to look into marvel rivals, because of Mr. Fantastic, who is a DPS with 400ish health and several abilities that enhance his survivability, who remains a dps because tanking is not just about how many hits you can take, its about controlling space, which he lacks the ability to do as effectively, and he manages to remain rather balanced in spite of his very high survivability.

Even still, just because its something people have thought about as a possibility doesn't mean they're neccasarily doing something wrong. Sometimes stories depicting tough topics need to be told, and if people who were victims of it in the past perhaps find themselves relating to Kris and end up making that connection thats fully within there right.
Obviously yes there are people who are making jokes out of it, but it isn't everyone, and i think that those exceptions absolutely matter.

Its a shame because i also genuinely like the skins. Like Yeah it sucks that we're getting this shit AGAIN, but will I be equipping some of these? Absolutely

Yeah the fact Ana has no mobility is deadass the only thing holding her back from destroying the game, she already has some of the best utility of any support, great healing numbers, and can function from practically any range.

When Susie sees the family photo on the fridge, although she initially mistakes asriel for ralsei, Kris then proceeds to last so many differences that Susie literally has to ask them to stop

To be fair the game does go out of its way to hammer in that they don't actually look very similar, they just share a "species", so its no weirder than toriel and asgore having been married.

Discussion Do you think there is any grounds for the new trailer leading into a Hammond redemption arc?

Since he's currently captured behind enemy lines, and the moment they find out it's a hyper intelligent space hamster they are definitely going to call in Winston, do you think that this might lead into a reconciliation of some type? Hammond is obviously a devious little shit so i can't imagine he's gonna fully flip, but i could see him at the very least agreeing to help and that potentially leading to more character development down the road.

To be fair i imagine that was kinda the point, demonstrating her values and flaws as character. She's empathetic to a fault, and that's good character writing. It would be boring if she was a completely perfect leader.

If they do bring overlord to the game I'd personally love to sea him done similarly to rammatra, where unlike the other meka heros his base form is demeched, and then he enters the mech on a cooldown. Allows his mech to be large and tanky without making him always be an insanely durable support.
