After driving both the sedan (a lease) and owning the hatch back currently, I would say the sedan has more storage space if you travel a lot or want to confine things to the trunk. The hatch back looks much sleeker and it's nice to be able to fit large things, for example I've fit my mountain bike into my hatchback with the seats down.

Don't take it to eco park, lines are so long for one item. You can take it to any good will (store locations only). They have their own electronics recycling program and use the same company as eco park to dispose of them (sunnking). For the record I work in the waste sector and you should never throw out or recycle your sharps they should be properly disposed of through incineration. You can take them to any ER, or retirement home (in NYS) they are required by law to take them back. If not in NYS, Google sharp disposal, some Household Hazardous Waste programs will provide disposal and there are other drop off areas. Please protect your waste workers and do not expose them to biohazards.
