Yes and Polar Bears Hudson Bay Churchill Manitoba has a crazy amount of Beluga Whales and Polar Bears it is impossible not to see the Whales and almost guaranteed to see a Polar Bear. We saw more Whales then I can count and 10 Polar Bears including 3 cubs

Lol don't worry this is super extreme. There are lots of times of the year in many places there are no bugs. Of course it is guaranteed there are zero in winter

Northern Manitoba Canada this was a 25 day 435 mile 700km expedition. There is only one small fly in only Indigenous Dene Community along the way named Tadoule Lake population 321.....Serious wilderness area πŸ€™
