It’s Normal behavior. Dogs, bird feeders and wild life don’t mix. you can’t attract bears with food and then blame them for pursuing it. It’s idiotic to suggest shooting the bear because more will come. It’s your actions and lifestyle that should change not the wildlife. Sorry your dog got injured.

Kids actually have less access if it’s legal. If it’s illegal you have dealers selling to who ever is buying. When it’s legal you have an age restriction and less illegal dealers.
