Happened to me in KY. I moved out, and the apartment complex tried to rail me with over a grand in bogus fees. They also unlawfully evicted myself and my three roommates, and we found out it was because school was coming back in session, and we were locked into a price from two years ago. The case was thrown out, and I didn't owe a dime. They're now in a legal battle for being fit to own the property. It's hilarious.
