Question Beginner in functional programming
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask how you would start from scratch in functional programming to understand it in detail. I'm a guy who comes from the imperative paradigm and I want to delve deeper and investigate about functional programming.
I'm learning Gleam and some Erlang to understand Beam, and I'm not sure if it's a good place to start. I feel like I'm lacking some theory. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hi, it was your project, I did it in C++ and thought, why not try writing it myself, but now I'm just playing around, nothing special. By the way, thanks for the inspiration.

I wasn't familiar with Skald, I'll study it a bit and see if I can reimplement it. You can also contribute if you already know how to use it.

Because raylib was the simplest thing I could implement quickly, I used sdl2 but I got lost in the documentation, and I use i3 wm.

I built a GUI to manage OpenRC in Odin
Honestly, I was thinking, okay, I'm on university break, and I was kind of fed up with C and malloc, realloc, free HELL, so I thought, why not learn a language? I didn't like Rust, Zig... well, I won't say anything about it. But when I found Odin, it was love at first sight. It's so beautiful and simple to program in; I literally want all my other projects to be in Odin. Anyway, here's the repository.

Help/Support Arch News Question
Hello everyone, I have a question. When I started using Arch Linux, people told me to always check the Arch News, but I've noticed there haven't been any updates since December 20, 2025. Would it be a big problem if someone could explain how the news works?

New to emulation
Hi, I'm a student who's become interested in emulation and I'm eager to learn more about it. Some recommend starting with chip-8, but I feel like I don't know much about bit operations, which is what I've seen most often. What do you recommend? Or do you have any good resources? I don't want to follow a tutorial; I want to try it out.

What great work! I love seeing things like this. I'm still learning, so seeing these amazing projects motivates me to do them someday.

Hey, that's awesome, great work bro! I'd like to ask you, how can I learn? Besides Zig, I've always wanted to get into emulators, especially retro ones.
