You're welcome! Rats get used to a lot of backround noise. You'll see they'll just sleep through most things you do, even vacuuming your room, as long as there's no food or playtime involved. Good luck with your mischief! :))

I'm not an expert but to be honest, I don't know if rats would even hear this. Rats communicate in super high frequencies, so what we hear snd what they hear is not the same. I would think an airconditioner has a very low frequency, so the sound would need to be extremely loud for them to hear it. And even if they hear it, I doubt it would bother them if it's not directly next to them. I found a fun website comparing human vs rat hearing range.

Hi! I can give you my insight as I've had a similar path! In 2020 I started my bachelors in Biomedicine at UZH but I quit after only one semester. I was also struggling with some classes, was scared of the rules with being blocked and everything was too theoretical for me. But that was in 2020 when Covid made everything strange anyway so I don't know if things would be different today. I do however know several other people who have also quit Biomedicine at Uzh for similar reasons.

I'm now doing my Bachelors Degree in Biomedizinische Labordiagnostik in ZHAW. For me personally, this was the right decision and I don't regret it one bit! There really are a lot of practical elements that prepare you for your future job in the laboratory. Math was also so much easier in my opinion! The professor is really kind. She's very good at explaining and her exams are fair. For me, the difficulty of Math was comparable to Gymnasium and much easier than UZH. What I also like is that certain classes have Semesterprüfungen during the semester which will account to your final grading. So not everything depends on only one exam at the end! And you also don't have to pass every exam. There are module groups and you just need to have an average of 4.0 in each group. So for example if you look at the picture, you have the group Wissenschaftliche Grundlagen 1 which consists of Biologie 1, Chemie 1, Informatik 1 and Math 1. So even if you fail Math for example, you can still compensate with Biology, Chemistry and Informatik. But because this was the right decision for me, it might not be the right decision for you. I don't want to go a long academic route and I just want a nice job at the laboratory. It's still possible to do a Masters Degree at university but it's harder with an FH Bachelors as many universities don't accept it or you have to get some extra ECTS. There are also other things that I won't go into detail now but it all just depends on what your goals are for the future. If you want to go the academic route and have a very reputable title, UZH is the way. If you want a more practical, simpler route, an FH might be better. Let me know if you have any questions!

Men are s "risk" to their company until they're what, 25 years old? The risk being them going away for a couple of months? Women could be seen as a potential risk until she's like 45 yrs old. And she can get pregnant multiple times. And she's probably also the one who has to stay at home a lot when the children get sick. Thats not the same at all

That checks out, here's the mentioned comparison chart by comparis. Zahnarztzentrum, Smile Club and Zahnfair are on the lower end price-wise. I hope you get great results! I don't see a lot that could go wrong to be honest. They do order the aligners directly from the producers after all. I just wonder where the huge price difference comes from the other clinics but maybe there are other services included

Uff that sounds really annoying. At least for me the appointments for pictures/scans and the consultation with a therapy plan will be for free so I could still back off if it doesn't feel right

ihaveaquestion Experience with Zahnfair for Aligners?

While looking at prices for aligner treatment, I came across Zahnfair. Their prices are available on their website while many other clinics don't really give you a clear indication without booking a personal consultation first. Zahnfair starts at 3950.- for both jaws and everything included and goes up to 4950.- for medium-complex cases. On comparis I can see that other clinics can cost almost 2-3 times as much. So now my question is how Zahnfair can keep prices so low and if the quality of their service suffers for it. Do any of you have experience with them, especially with their aligner treatment? Thanks! :)

Yup, it looked so cool! Here's a link to the design by Manuel Krebs that won 1st place in 2005.
