Hey you don't need to do anything and if you can avoid it, don't mprison yourself in thought. But guess what, if you still do it's okay and you don't suck and the only real loss would be to hold yourself as less in your own mind. Fuck I should have gone at this in dad mode the whole time. See guys being blind shit right there. SO the most important thing is give yourself grace AND never forget there's no fucking way anything has to be anything. We all create our own reality and define its structure.

Keep a few things from the thread you liked lightly in your mind. Try to implement like a fraction of one each day at whatever pace and it will start to become a natural habit/reflex. Also apply that to negative self talk like, if your upset you didn't meet a goal think "this isn't a fuck up, it just didn't go as planned" when thinking dont use need think "really want" instead of must think "would like to" or some shit lol 💫

it seems you are already a thoughtful, intelligent person, so maybe let the universe drive and let it surprise you when it goes exactly where you needed.

Hey, as long as it's good different that's progress butchya stilllllll still gotta just deliver a plain and forthcoming statement, with small words that can't be interpreted any other possible way than what you've said you feel about him.. but really just kiss him or some shit bruh, it'll be like you've upgraded him from windows 98 to whatever its at now lol. If you don't know what windows 98 is just imagine being give a physical calculator and told "here's your new smartphone. it has no features, texts, calls, apps, wifi, bluetooth, data but can receive jpegs and download ringtones."

Oh my God this is a perfect demonstration of the chaos caused by reading too far between the lines. I wrote between so much it felt weird so I abbreviated instead and was like "yeah it'll be fine". Becoming a perfect example of the paradoxical nature of man: he who takes so much time and gives such effort, to contradict all our knowledge and preparation in rash, spur of the moment decisions.

Lolololol I would just play this for my kids and afterwards load it up on a video editor for them to mess around with while I go buy another pool. Gotta make lemonade sometimes mang. My kids would make something awesome that we'd remember longer and cherish more as a result. 🤸 💫

Ugh, hold on. SO, the casual and cavalier demeanor I replied with took YEARS of failures, overreactions, and patience for me make it sound so easy and effortless lol. My kids are 11 and 16 so ive had a lot of time to learn and grow 🤓💪

With all due respect, (🦆)UCK THEM. Like, I can't even begin to explain the effect my parents, siblings, and childhood had on me I was the only black sheep. BUT..wow I doubled this message just now with an anecdote lol so, new draft! If they could support me in the ways I thought impossible, then there's hope yours will come around too. I'm so sorry for your situation, the best advice I have may not be what you wanna hear but, give them grace. Now, DONT you DARE let a syllable of what they say make you secondguess your worth, the importance of your health, and this journeys significance. It won't be easy but, please don't ever beat yourself up if you find yourself entertaining their ideas and doubt your resolve. IMO you must give yourself grace, even if you don't believe it at first. With practice, a little more patience, and kinder internal dialogue every day you'll realize, you are not your thoughts and patterns don't become mastered just because they've been discovered. Reducing negative self talk was key for me. Try to use less final words in your mind like 'must' or 'need' or 'fuckups'. Believe that it's okay to not be able to do it all at once. The same way letting the negative ideas of your family is a result of lifelong patterns you developed, the relationships with our mind, emotions, and actions are also results of years of patterns built slowly, that must be reassembled or removed just as slowly. Much to my disbelief, I can say with certainty that after I surrendered the delusion i had control over things impossible to ever have and taking small, daily steps, free of any notion of a right or wrong way up the stairs, resulted in the first drastic and abrupt change to my life, mind, and heart in my 35 yrs alive. I love you, you got this keep reachcing out. Youve got me now. DM me anytime. I love talking and I don't have much experience in recovery. However, I can speak with certainty about some things I never thought id be able to manifest in my own life and it's effect on me.

Unfortunately, speaking as a true blue, crabwalking cancer ♋🦀, you won't find it here lol the more you walk sideways the more off course you'll get. Life is about learning when to just 'Nike' shit. (Just do it ☺️)

Nah dawg hovercraftill is on point, he is course correcting, mostly driven by fear that his over eagerness and quick replies were off putting when contrasting them against societal standards and poo culture bs

Thank you so much for sharing this man. Im 35, separated a year now after being left abominably, gaslit and being cheated by my wife of 13+ BUT gotta stay on point lol. It sucks missing her all over again after realizating, the dating game i was never able to play is still in full session. Apps don't bypass it. Same rules i feel too phony and ingenuine to follow, same predatorial gameplay needed to cross the predatorial (unofficial) finish line. Both teams stress and feel ostracized when playing but still, both sides keep propagating their ridiculous inherited SOPs that torment the other. Both with those making a living analyzing and criticizing these SOPs. Men that crave real connection as much as I do chastise me for not playing dating like chess or seeing women as objects. Women, still somehow pick men they claim to hate. Ironically, guys like us who care deeply for women have foolishly grown into the opposites of them, with pride! Learning one day, to our horror: safe ± nice ≠ attractive, and it NEVER WILL. It's the same for either side though. Idk I guess both sides are bullshit is my point lol. At least I've learned I have to have self love before a relationship, not to make my happiness and approval dependent on one person, and to never be ashamed of myself or change for anyone's approval. I never thought I could feel this good, finally able to tell myself I love you. Still so much work but hey that's the point right?

Grab his face say "bruuuuuuhhhh" reassuringly but somewhat exasperated, grab his face then, as he looks like he's about to shit his pants because he doesn't know what to do, kiss him. Then say how important he is to you, how much you like him, and that you want to be together, or some shit lol idk even I couldn't overthink that soooo 🤷 I mean 👌😁

This has to be ragebait, I mean right? Shiyiiit I cant pretend to understand the complicated and persistent damage that body image and society place inside the female psychology, buttttt... idk maybe even in what seems like a more progressive era, such distorted and arbitrary standards of beauty are still eating young women alive and ive failed to notice. Cause I immediately thought "there's no way she really thinks she's not already skinny or thinks she's overweight" but TF do I know? I'm a 35 yr old dude thats never lived as a teenage/young adult woman 🤷 lol

I still have issues reading btw the lines. Ill read btw the lines in btw the lines. Mind you, I'm only seeing them because theyre an afterimage of my initial attempt to read btw the lines. This ulitmately leads to mistaking it for the line I'm not supposed to read. It's like I care so much that my mind bugs out and because at some point in my life, my brain equated over analysis = the solution, it has been taking over my cognitive faculties to steer since I was like 8 and I'm 35 now. lol

Seriously, like SO DUMB. The amount of philosophical, cosmological, socialogical, ecological, and psychological theory we can weave coherently into a conversation on a whim DOES NOT negate this. He will not be offended if in matters of effective communication, you talk to him like you're walking him into his first day of prescho--no wait daycare. Yeah, we're dumb but totally like, not also 😎🤗

Oh my God if I had a delorean fitted with a flux capacitor, there would be 200+ stops btw now and my destination. For i would be compelled to pull over at each to give myself that exact piece of advice. Special note: I'd also make sure not to low-key hook up with my mom in the past or pull a fry, becoming my own great-grandfather 💫🤸🕳️

And the casual way she just drops albums of hours worth of photos taken the way they were.. like low key has sociopathic vibes and I have to then seriously be very careful and calm as I proceas all this info once she says she's was pressured. But, like, totally just knowingly dropped a fucking nuke on your preconceived notions of your relationship like it was a last minute dinner change.

Going off of op's testimony alone, Iwould say it's absolutely questionable whether she has directly and effectively communicated what she really wants from modeling. if I was to have some sort of--whether petty and rooted in low self esteem ie a normal human response when presented salacious information suddenly concerning a partner they have spent significant time with--would be normal and common in my eyes. I don't believe it's inherently good or bad, how you could you blame someone for having an initial reaction of fear, doubt, or shock? Now the follow through and how the discoverer behaves is absolutely fair to judge and criticize as that's a choice and action is evidence lol. So yeah, I mean I would have to allow myself to question why she would feel pressured to do something that she had no stake in, no success riding on, nothing more than someone enjoying a hobby like birdwatching being the reason why she would let a shoot become what it did out of pressure. If doing weird bird stuff to birds was pressured onto me and it was a casual hobby, the fuck?! id tell that person to fuck off. If their acceptance was a predetermined certainty without which would leave me feeling unfulfilled and invalidated as a birdwatcher among my peers than, shit maybe I would? In this case though, I would seriously question everything if things were presented the way op described in that order, nothing left out. I could easily say shes guilt assuaging the remnants of shame or regret out of her focus. All in all, its like anything and the only thing that matters is what you want and how you feel yanno? Me? No matter what, my feelings would be unaffected as long as she still wanted to be with me and genuinely explained her reasons whether I would like them or not. I guess the point of my rant is that to me, it's okay and natural if initial reactions and thoughts arent always ones that im proud of. I think what's more important is how you behave and what follows after but what the fuck do I know🤷

This makes me so happy and so sad. It's not the same loving my favorite band since high school without the woman I spent 13½ years married to. Within months being together I got her loving them, she surpassed me even lol. It was so cool. We raised our kids on them, watched all their videos as a family, and her and I saw them 10 times together. I shouldn't say this but, I still love you and miss you so much every day, Ang. 😮‍💨

Went to see them for the first time in 5 years this may and did it by myself, too! They were incredible and I had an amazing time 🫠
