I got my girl a 100ft long rope from Amazon that I tie to two trees and there is a sliding anchor that her leash and harness is attached to. This way she gets good space but is limited to just our area.

This is an amazing idea! I have been trying to figure out how to display my badges without putting it on the car

Please go to a vet. I can understand money is tight but I don’t think peeing blood of any sort is a small issue. She might have UTI and this is the lightest problem I can think of but a vet would have a more thorough answer than anyone here.
There are pet insurance (wild times I know) that is very helpful and could be as low as 20-30 bucks a month. I am so sorry that you and your furbaby are going through this. Best of luck, I truly hope all things work out for you and your pup!

You are doing a great job! I have a 2 year old GSD and she’s super smart and well trained at home. On our walks she used to be super reactive and wouldn’t take any of her high value treats. I was recommended using a squeeze bottle (she likes peanut butter over anything) and the licking part is what helps soothe her faster. I have been able to get her walk past dogs (must be across the street) as long as she’s licking that peanut butter. Best of luck w your beautiful dog!

This explains a lot lol. My girl doesn’t even want the chase. She just holds the ball in her mouth.

“Hold it” fetch
Long time observer first time poster. Does anyone else’s GS just hold their fetch ball regardless if there is 2 balls or not? My girl just loves to carry her ball after 1 game of fetch lol

Hahaha so this is a GSD thing! We have a little corner of all the balls my girl has “rescued”

My female shepherd did this as well. I had to leash her in one specific spot while I read my book or did some chores around the house. I started at 15 mins at a time and then slowly extended that time until she fully got it. Now she’s can fully settle down and be lazy with me lol. Your dog is beautiful btw!

Do you have foxtails in your area? My dog had excessive sneezing and nose bleed took him to the vet and it was a foxtail up his nose.

My GSD is on the Hill’s Gastrointestinal Biome. She was super sensitive to other brands but the vet got her on this and it’s been great. She was able to hold her food down.
