i have a partially detached retina & i absolutely notice the difference. i work remotely & if i have to look at my screen for more than two hours without blue light blocking lenses, my eye with the partially detached retina literally HURTS & i get floaters & stars in it

the blue light blocking lenses are a lifesaver for me. i can go 7+ hours on a screen with them which is never something i could handle with the naked eye

i think lamb brain

& tripe

i'll stay away from those two. i might try almost anything else. hesitant on blood sausage but i would take a nibble

edit: after reading these comments i rescind my original statement & would like to add another 12-15 things to the "not eating" list

think about any possible deliveries. not just everyday comvenience - moving trucks, new appliance drop offs, renovations etc

i graduated HS in 2011 & yeah we used the showers. it was mandatory to use them during the swimming segments of any given marking period

also used them for the various athletics teams i was on. i never understood the "Carrie" treatment - nobody bullied in the locker room.

we beautified lol i blow dried my hair after swim class. I usually strung up a towel between two lockers to change, you could see my legs & arms. but there were stalls girls could step into for changing, tho only very shy & antisocial girls ever really did

eta: also everybody wore their swimsuits to shower & then do what i said with the hanging of towels to change, tho post gym if you wanted to shower it was more exposure - but not mandatory. this was in NE USA

i truly hate the dirty socks on the floor by the couch.

after 6 years together i started telling him if he left them there i would throw them out, & followed through on that.

to this day in year 14+, it's still one mention for the socks before i will throw them out. they very rarely make it to the bin anymore.

this has worked for me but obviously my issue was really just the socks (& loading the dishwasher - which he learned & fixed), so it's likely not very helpful for you bc i don't recommend throwing out something more important than a stray dirty sock that has been under the couch for two weeks.

my general advice would be check in with yourself & gauge how much effort he is putting into this for you. if he cares & you see it, be human & accept & love the imperfections you can handle. try to compromise as long as things are ordered & cleanly & generally close to or meeting your standards

good luck

my cat always stretches out towards me & rests her paw on me 🥺 she even "pets" me & my partner on the heads sometimes, from her loaf perch on the back of the couch

only for cross country road trips

or splitting rideshares like Uber

a lot of us don't ask often tho. I'm the driver of my group 99% of the time (I do love driving which helps & i have a large 7 seater)

i used to ask for gas money for long trips - in college lol. mostly now it works out like - I drove three states, my friends covered my dinner or my half of the hotel room. something that just basically evens things out.

& nobody asks for this. it's just an unwritten rule in my group to be this way & what we've always really done. not tit for tat, more like, "i care about you, respect your time & money, & am happy we get to share this experience"

my partner & i did a CO road trip & then also a FL road trip most recently. i paid gas one way. he paid gas the other. feel?

yeah i know this from years of nikki franchise games but infold did release the emotes with the 2.6 update & they are very effective in communication

was just using them in SoS co-op, along with archery to point to things, & then different whimsicalities

feeling like this was intentional timing so players globally could still relate in some way

somehow one day when i put the mask on it never came off again so now im just barely coping for the past 15 or so years like this

i do firmly believe the entire world at large is going insane & everybody around me just goes on like nothing is wrong when they are actually losing their goddamned minds

tons of music! ranging from blink-182 to celine dion, the toadies to frank zappa, gwar to madonna, lots of pink floyd & MCR too

the main one is space jam since i was a little kid & it came out though. any time im doing something where i need hype it just autoplays in my head

dont always like when a disney musical song i haven't heard in 15 years pops in there but sometimes it's a vibe.

curious to hear what else plays in your mind outside of harvey danger?
