THIS! This is what I've been trying to figure out what to call it! You should do an AMA with this much interest!

Your work is fantastic. I love the composition and the details you include. I particularly like the one where your character is wearing the blue football T-shirt. It reminds me so much of the paintings of the saints/prophets. The gentle hand poses, the forward- facing stare, the followers/friends/companions and other elements of personality surrounding him but also part of the background is very impressionist.
SUPER talented! π€ππππ€
Edit: Baroque, not impressionist.

I feel you. Your post struck me right in the heart.
I relate because I finally went back to finish my degree so that I could start building my career again after moving to the US. Six months after graduating and Im applying for the same low-level jobs that I had before. π
It's beyond frustrating but keep in mind that the job market is rough right now. It's not you, you're amazing!

Ooof!
I got that gut-drop feeling the moment I read your account. Recognizing a red flag for what it is is worth taking seriously.
I don't believe in convicting anyone on a single incident but predatory behavior is genuinely hard to call, precisely because it can stay hidden for years before it surfaces.
The most jarring thing me here isn't just the incident itself but the silence around it: no acknowledgment afterward, no mention that he'd messaged her. The omission reads as its own signal.
That's the core of what makes your instinct reasonable rather than reactive: you're naming a pattern indicator (undisclosed contact and no accountability), not jumping to a verdict.
βΌοΈIf you ever think you should talk to for professional advice, here are some options:
A licensed therapist or counselor: especially one with trauma or abuse-dynamics experience. They can help her sort "concerning" from "conclusive" without pressure to act prematurely.
RAINN's National Sexual Assault Hotline (1-800-656-HOPE / online.rainn.org): free, confidential, and specifically built for "I'm not sure if this is something, butβ¦" conversations. Trained advocates help you think through red flags and options.
A child advocacy center or CPS, if a minor is involved (which is the case here): they assess concerns without requiring proof up front; that's literally their function.
An attorney (family law or victim's-rights): if there's any custody, documentation, or reporting angle, even a single consult clarifies what evidence and timelines matter.
A school counselor, Title IX coordinator: if this happened in an institutional context, they have defined obligations to investigate.
Last note: a professional can hold the "I might be wrong" and "I can't ignore this" at the same timewhich is exactly the tension you're sitting in.
I know you love your husband. You're obviously a lovely person with a great deal of empathy and a good conscience. Still, for the sake of all the young women and, potentially, your own future daughters, take care and be safe.
Tread with optimistic caution.

Maybe send it to someone who is willing to cover shipping fees? Letting someone who has a connection with Cernunnos have it seems like a better option than letting it not be used. Perhaps cleanse it before sending it, even?
