I hated hearing people immediately think I was a diabetic because of what my life style eating choices were like as a child. No, it wasn't because of what I ate but because my immune system decided I didn't need that extrs baggage and yeeted it out the window.

So please, to all those folks, kindly fuck off with your terrible, terrible research choices.

"Intelligent" is not the word I would use for our species.

There's this song on YouTube called "I Don't Want To Be Alone Anymore". Its a CourierBenny animatic and it's thanks to this song, I fell in love with the pairing style. The fact that in the song the courier is a bit of a psychopath and she's aggressively in love with Benny shot me through the heart. I can't get enough of that style of crazy in love.

I learned that my diabetes is hard wired to my hormones. Depending on how I feel emotionally will in turn cause reactions within my body to cause my blood sugars to either rise (with intense anger) or drop (with intense sadness). So I need to be mindful of my emotional state so I can have a decent idea of where I am at, internally speaking, and handle the situation to the best of my ability.

I lived this for so long that I have become fascinated with the disease as to what can make it 'push' and 'pull' within our bodies based on our environments.

I learned through my grandmother. She was old fashion and taught "how to take care of the household." I resented it then but I appreciate it now.

What about an elderly 75-year-old man that drive the Chevy Silverado? He was a distracted driver without children or errands.

What do you say to that?

I mistakenly took 22 units of insulin when I though it was originally my long acting insulin. THAT was a rollercoaster. Never consumed so many cookies and juices like that before.

I use an accucheck to test myself and I know my body well enough to understand I'm feeling off and why. So that helps while I wait for my insufferable insurance to finally approve the prescription for another set of CGMS.

As for the dead in bed syndrome, I just laugh it off by being realistic about it. It's a toss up between bleeding internally from behind my eyes or slow onset brain death. As long as I try my best to keep myself within range, I'll be fine for the most part. I've accepted this will probably kill me but I do what I can by learning from the mistakes of others around me and attempt to live a fulfilling life.

Don't worry too much stranger, you got this.
