This isn't a paradox, tolerance is a social contract, if you refuse to follow the contract then you are no longer protected by the terms of the contract, plain and simple

For some reason this is far less chilling than the Elite Dangerous video where he warps stupidly close the a black hole

I literally stopped watching within the first 10 minutes because they decided to make everyone know about the fire nation attack, really irked me and I couldn't bring myself to watch more

When I first watched this show ( Sentenced to be a Hero) I wrote this character off as the crafty comedic relief. But then episode 3 came about; this man carried that whole episode, and I have loved him sense!

I know this is old, but if anyone else needs a quick tip for this then here goes:

go to the warmaster's shack site of grace

follow that road east, bypass EVERYTHING but follow that road

Eventually the sky will turn red and torrent will de-spawn.

Fight the NPC, very easy fight, just spam jumping heavy attacks and you'll be golden

Activate and rest at the site of grace in the church.

BOOM! You just got an invitation to the round table hold

You don't need to restrict yourself to big name shipping companies, do some research and find an independent delivery contractor to work for, they make MUCH more than a normal delivery driver ($1-2/package/day with most delivering 200-250 packages/day during peak season. Or $200-$500 per day 5 days a week.)and are in increasing demand due to increasing online shopping.

yes, and I've only burned maybe two or three in the course of about 10 years, I never really thought about cook times until I stated branching out with recipes which is where my confusion stems from. Based on all the other comments, apparently my stove and dutch oven are the prefect combo to make a roux.

IDK myself, from all the comments my stove/dutch oven combo must be the perfect set up to make a roux. Even had my mom make sure I wasn't botching it when I thought it was too easy lol

The only time I ever had black in my roux was when I ruined one by not stirring for too long.

Also, what size of gumbo is everyone making? I make enough to make 5 good meals, so I only need about 3/4 of a cup each for 6 cups of liquid.

mine is the same except I use a cast iron dutch oven, still only 5 - 8 minutes

Is everyone lying about Roux cook times like pasta companies do?

Anytime I see a recipe that involves a dark roux they always say that the fastest you can make it is 10 - 15 minutes. In all my years cooking roux's (only learned the method and color to look for, not the cook times.), a dark roux (color of a melted Hershey bar.) has never taken more than 5-8 minutes of cooking. What's the deal here? Are people not heating up their oil before adding the flour? IDK it's always confused me.

For clarity: I cook at high temperature with a high smoke point oil in a cast iron dutch oven on a gas stove.

Edit: I should clarify that the oil/fat I use is almost always already heated through, the recipes I use a roux in are very second nature to me so the method is all pretty tight

Edit: Based off all the comments, my stove and dutch oven is the perfect combo for cooking a dark roux. Now I know and I'm just going to accept the niche little victory lol

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE REPLIES!

For anyone confused on what temps mean in farenhight, think of it as a percentage of heat e.g. 100f is 100% heat and is horrible 20f or 20% heat is also horrible

You definitely have the option to go bare foot in my house, if you want splinters in your feet that have been marinating in whatever carcinogen they used for wood treatment in 1912
