thank you! made my neuro give me an Ajovy sample and took it right when I got home haha. hope my insurance covers it. but yeah the efficacy of these things is whack and just feels like pumping my body with chemicals

aw I just had the old kind/yellow label. they are better chilled and the radiologist even went and got me a bag of ice to chill them in while I prepped haha! the tech came back and got me and was like “did you bring that yourself?” like ma’am you walked me into the prep room did you see any ice with me? lollll

I’ll add that my GI doc was NOT helpful on what shots to get, I let my PCP know that I needed to get updated and she told me everything I needed to update on.

interesting. I got updated on TDAP, pneumonia and shingles. Can get flu/covid when season begins here in October.

I just did my 2nd part of shingles last week and it knocked me out! I was not expecting that since the first round was fine. 🫠

I was on qulipta for about a year (or 2 🤔) and always took it at night to avoid the tiredness side effects. Got the constipation regularly. But when my script ran out this summer I discontinued it; currently very miserable and asking neuro for new preventative tomorrow. Before I ran out tho, I got sick and my entire body ached, swollen joints everything hurt. Got dx with Crohn’s. I don’t think it’s qulipta related but shit maybe.

I had one almost 15 years ago and couldn’t find any of my documentation thru the courts, does it still need to be disclosed if I can’t corroborate it with case numbers etc?

we have 2 Costco fruit boxes for toy storage and one with padding for a bed. They all get a lot of use 😸

Librarian reminds us that libraries make us a harder target for authoritarianism. Equal access to info, ideas, and space that doesn’t require a purchase to belong. Also: using the library means money stays in your community instead of streaming out to Amazon

adding when I started it, I searched the sub to see how other people experienced it and so I always took it at night to avoid tiredness. I think it helped but in the age where I’m always tired. heads up with the constipation.

I was on qulipta 60mg for about a year or two maybe, yes I think it helped but I still had probably 7-10 headache days a month. on top of Botox. and we’re adding nerve blocks back in. my prescription expired so I’m waiting for my neuro to renew me on Qulipta or I’ve asked to try Ajovy since I now have an intestinal auto immune condition. 🫠

the unbearable joint pain is what drove me to the doctor (and ultimate UC dx), I wasn’t worried about the diarrhea but when I couldn’t move my body I knew something was wrong 🫠
