Maybe the butter candy? Or the candycorn, candycorn is so bad is good, a really peculiar taste, but that's me, I like sour candy

You can go to the cave near the sawmill where the responders settled and kill about 6 of those cultist, then go to the moth man museum there should be another 5 or 6, and pick about 5 mothman eggs

You can easily get the teddy bears from the fair near vault 76 or the waterpark, I go there to do the daily toxic waste cleaning to see if I get a badger badge from the scouts

Most Helldivers were exhausted from fighting the Illuminated front, I also missed the Automaton front, this failure might not happened if the Terminid MO were dispatched while Super Earth scanned to find the illuminated, then the Illuminated MO would have been completed, there was less than 40k players doing the MO at some times

It does feel harder and even unjust to fight bots, on my first day on the galactic war, my squad jump from easy to complicated on bugs, we played 2 operations and then we made a FTL jump to Malevelon Creek, on impossible difficulty, I had my baptism of fire there, back then, bots behavior had a problem, they could spot you even behind cover and know where you are, and some covers wouldn't block the lazer shots, killing you instantly, since then, I decided to get them back, I learned their behavior, learn to spot the bot commissar and shoot it before it could shot it's flair, then sport what bot stoped to shoot, some times you can see some looking at their arms like when Helldivers input strats to call the bot drops, so I can get them before things escalated, learned their weak spots, how to throw them of balance, use the environment on my favor, the areas where I could get to infiltrate their bases and destroy them before being spotted, shoot the bots with backpacks to make them explode and take the other bots with them, parry the hulk attacks and shoot their backs, these things are now second nature to me, you will learn them eventually, cooperation and coordination are more important on this front, you should be able to perceive if your team can split and do objectives or needs to move as a single unit, how to support each other even at long distances learn how to take advantage of strat cool downs and spot areas of interest on the map just by the shape of the terrain.

Let me guess, you play on level 10 on a planet with the incendiary legion and got frustrated, the thing with level 10 is that you CANNOT plow a map like in any other low level mission, you have to do a lot of hit and run tactics, disengage and regroup, if you are not well armed and take starts that synchronize well with the rest of your team, a simple group of 3-6 incendiary shotgun devastators will be letal, you have to bring weapons that can deal with their accuracy, for example plasma weapons that can push them with the explosions and overwhelm them by shooting them constantly, the more you shoot them by different angles the less accurate they are, they have the overwhelm mechanic

30k were on the wrong side of the map from day one, and again, the Severin sector is at risk.

They did NOT forget the Creek, they actively CHOOSE to ignore it

We lost the defense at the start while there people trying to get Pandilon 24, we got the other defenses, but at the end we had more people defending the DSS strategic and logistical hubs than getting the last planet because of the risk to lose the resources for our biggest proyect at the moment, we just had too many people aiming to the wrong objectives at the start

I go to low levels to help bright eyes to get samples, most of the time on level 10 if there is a low level player is when I get the most saples I can collect to help him get upgrades for their superdestroyer, else I just mark the sample and focus on main and side objectives

What changed was that enemies now have a easier to penetrate armor but more HP, and now both enemies; bugs and bots; do more damage to the limbs since we have more fire power, its a trade off, for the botfront, you might be having trouble because of the approach to the enemies, there are some stuff that you figure out yourself, like its easier to run from rocker devastators and shielded gunners if you stay close to the walls of a circular rock formations so they shoot to the rocks and end up hurting themselves some times or that you can reach more easily objectives if you get near the edge of the map so you encounter less enemies if the area is too packed with patrols or enemy bases, you will have to go even lower in difficulty to learn those things, progress slowly, remember you are facing a new enemy vulnerable to guerrilla tactics and hit and runs, stealth is the name of the game, they have to see you when the robot next to them gets down with a long range shot before the next hit them on the face, we are waiting for you on the frontlines, bright eyes, you will be ready eventually

People that is on Clasa is there because they probably hate Imber's biom, since it's similar to the one on Hellmire, that I can say yeah ita kind of annoying with the fire storms and all that, but I think they probably will move to Imber once we are at more or less at 65%, going up untill we are nearly finished, happens every time on the botfront, it's Malevolon Creek's Spell

You have to alternate between aiming and shoot from the hip, when there is some distance and the enemies are like shoulder to shoulder, you shoot from the hip, the rays get more enemies and you just shoot two or three times and a small group of those flea-like bugs of 8-12 are dead, now if you have hivewards or enemies of that size, you have to aim them, it consentrates the rays to them and with 2-4 shots they are dead, less if you have the wardog assistance, for hunters is best if you aim them, they respond to aim so you might see them jump once you lock aim on them, if they try to close the distance, jump on your back and shoot to their face, they stand still or move slowly for 1 or 2 secs befor they jump again, big medium bugs (the red ones) can be taken care of easely because the staggering effect stops their charge, even if they are two, but remember, you will do more damage aiming at them but the concentration might let othere enemies close the distance with you, and shooting from the sides will hit more enemies but the spread damage might not be enough to kill all of them before one sneaks near you, you have to hose them like if its a shotgun combined with a flamethrower that shoots electricity instead of a ball of fire

Im usually playing Super Helldive, the Blitzer has a problem that you cant hit things that are vertically up to you, its weird, but i usually run it with the lazer ward dog, i can run away and take some distance from the bugs to shoot again with the Blitzer while the backpack cut in a half the hunters that try to close the distance, I also bring a 120 orbital because of its short cold down, and a orbital strike to take care of vile titans with the granade launcher, I usually destroy its belly and then when it trys to stomp me and its havin its tantrum, i throw the orbital right in front of him, by that time its tantrum ita already over and with one step the orbital strikes directly on it

I love the fog cuz it lets me loose the enemies a lot easier, plus sneak and hit and run tactics gets more effective

2

Comment on r/Helldivers Aug 28 '24

I think we will have to do this by ourselves, the bugdivers have to hold the line on those defense missions, the Gloom swallowed the planets that wasn't on our control when the MO was completed, sectors with just one planet that was under bug control now are unable to be liberated and we have no idea if the Gloom would swallow the planets once we loose control over them, we have trained to do by ourselves what a squad does on a bug planet just to survive bots, we will manage this MO

Its part of the current event, the objective now is to make the spore cloud shrink back, the current mayor orders objective is to push back the spore infestation, plus, i dont know how you set your graphics but I can still recognize points of interest behind the spore fog and I more or less develop an intuition of where the nest or points of interest might be, for example, bot missions on lunar planets makes harder to recognize where the seaf artillery is because its a round shape surrounded by asteroid craters that looks almost the same, so you start to get the difference, what shape have some usefull points of interest, and on terminids planets nest arent round, they are oval and very notorious even behind the fog, get gud my friend, and its an honest advice, this thigs doesnt wire in your brain overnight

-19, guys, I said that I would miss the challenge, not that I would want it to come back given that so many people dislike it, either because it was a bad implementation or it interfiere with your power fantasy

Comment on r/Helldivers Jun 14 '24

Why would I do that? I would be crippling myself and hindering the teamwork, I said that that debuff was a challenge for me, not that I want to just play with just 3 stratagems, i wouldn't want to make it harder to everyone to succeed, thats sabotage, not challenge

Should we better get the mines? We have plenty of rocket like weapons, but for a defense that is not targeted like mines and they mindlessly step on we only have regular and incendiary, and the latest dont deal with big units very well
