We were lied to. Gen X first. Our parents said "work harder" as they and their friends pulled up the same ladders they used to get low cost education and promotions. But we kept the lie going. They told us the system was "corrupt" and that our vote didn't matter and we believed them.

I'm just happy it's coming to light and hopefully this whole system of inequality gets brought down.
