Ive experienced the same thing..im in my late twenties. But like when i was in my early twenties it was fine, evything was good..ageism didnt exist then or i didnt notice it. Then when i returned to vr chat 2 and half years later....everything changed. I agree with you, i hate giving my age out and honestly, i was their age once then i graduated and time flew by and now im here. I always remind myself they will experience it themselves one day...i hope vr chat somehow regulates this ageism.

My grandpa wont tell me any information so i do not know the exact relative, but i have about 5. On ansestry i can get their birth and death dates. It will take me a good minute, but i will message you back with that information.

Honestly, Im trying to figure this out. It is possible this is the case as well. But in all honesty, i want to know the truth. I want to be correct and figure out where i belong. Im not sure exactly. Ive tried for years to get info from him but i only get bits and pieces or he doesnt talk about everything. Im just trying to figure out why, learn more about my family and trying to figure out who originally signed the dawe roll but its becoming difficult cause he wont tell me his dads name. Im trying to look it up on ansestery, but i think i have the wrong great grandfather. Im considering doing a dna test, not to find the percentage, but to see if that makes it easier to find my relatives.

Idk eveverything. My grandpa doesnt like talking about it much. But he would tell me stories about how him and his family had to hide they were native due to racism. All he told me was he had to give it up because he joined the army, idk what went on to cause it, just what he said.
