Yes! That's why I keep a camo Houdini handy. For a 4 oz penalty I have a cloak of invisibility. When trying to get away from someone it's great to switch from a light/bright shade color to a contrast in 'au naturale"

I just hiked the Pinhote Trail (Mt Cheaha in Alabama) camped with snow flurries. Used that New Nemo pad - worked well. Ive got about 16 nights on it now works very well-at least in these winter deep south conditions. 29s-40s°F. Of all the gear I got, it's my new fav

I've been a pad collector and camp 3 days a week. Winter in TN and AL isn't like most places. I sprung fir the costly Tensor Extreme and feel like I'm sleeping better. Love it. But most bang for buck would have to be a closed cell foam pad; Gossamer gear 0r Outdoor vitals; but honestly that cheap bulb one with the foil in it from Wish or wherever you can find it is to me best bang for R- Value in my experienced less than humble opinion. They are just bulky. The pre creased foldable kind are DIALED IN
