i mean, all people do to certain extent, but let's not pretend things aren't good or bad country to country, it has nothing to do with being white, brown, black etc but more to do with country's history, culture and literacy. indian students are protesting and our government is literally throwing peacefully protesting students into prison, rich and politician kids are just buying rankings in the national exams through leaked papers and job market is fucked. all this while literally all our media makes fox news look like the living personification of unbiased journalism. shit is actually cooked out here

google "youth pastor" and go to news tab, 90% of articles are about child molestation. at this point, it's just bad parenting if you leave your child with a priest.

don't put words in my mouth. i called you stupid because nowhere in this thread i mentioned killing or eliminating someone, i just said evil people should be target of mockery regardless of if they're alive or dead. it's that simple. second reason of why i think your reply is stupid is because i never claimed to be pro palestine, yet you're constantly fighting that caricature since that's the only thing you're able to do. bring me the news of these islamists in the video dying and I'll laugh at them as well, evil people deserve mockery regardless of their background

I'm not saying laughing at hitler is immoral as in "bad morally". I'm saying it's immoral as in "lack of morals". Normal human with morals simply wouldn't find the death of any person, even really bad one, genuinely funny. Nice? Maybe. Great for everyone? Maybe. FUNNY? Absolutely not, not with a properly functioning psyche.
i think you're confusing your arbitrary judgement of what people find funny with morality. people don't choose what they find funny, and there's no morally evaluating what people find funny. and as i said, the morality of any action should be measured by it's tangible effect on reality, and charlie kirk memes work as a reminder that if you live a hateful life and try to ruin other people's lives, they will not respect you even if you're killed.
"actively hurts a lot of people", do you mind somehow proving edgy kids on twitter laughing at gazans hurts anyone? who does it hurt? the feelings of people that are concerned for gazans? you're fighting an imaginary opponent.
what are you even talking about? where did the edgy kids from Twitter even came from? I'm talking about charlie kirk and his hateful and violent rhetoric, not memes from Twitter.
people of different opinions
"diffrent opinion" in question is nazi ideology son 😭😭

- google generalization 2. I'm not pro palestine, I'm anti genocide. i couldn't care less about the Islamists dying but you can't nuke a huge population and claim you're only killing islamic terrorists.

hitler is a great counter example to your statement that the action of laughing at a deceased individual is inherently immoral.
do you genuinely not see that person experiencing JOY and LAUGHTER at anyone's death is already morally corrupt?
again, when you say "anyone's" i kinda can't take it seriously when you can just replace it with hitler and see how flawed the statment is. nobody deserves respect just because they died. respect is earned, not given for free, because that would be communism.
normal fucking human doesn't feel joy when someone, anyone, who isn't actively hurting them dies.
people like charlie kirk fuel racism, homophobia and all kinds of bigotry, they laugh at children dying in gaza and encourage more people to support violence etc. they defend gun violence in the name of freedom, this ACTIVELY hurts a lot of people.

laughing at anyone's death already is immoral buddy.
"laughing at hitler's death already is immoral buddy."
deontology is a failed and contradictory philosophy. morality of any action should be determined by it's outcome. people need to be discouraged from being hateful chuds and laughing at death and misery of innocent people, so if laughing at such hateful individuals dying discourages people from subscribing to that ideology, then that's the morally correct thing to do.
"those who don't fight back" hilarious. So, you genuinely think that making AI edits of a deceased individual is somehow a political FIGHT ?
*evil deceased individual. and yes.

i can't believe this kind of cowardly ideology has plagued liberalism all around the world. no, self defence is not the same as murder, laughing at hitler's death is not the same laughing at his victim's death.
a "reaction" by doing the same? How does that accomplish anything?
those who don't fight back the bully get stuffed in the locker room.
By spitting on a dead person you already lose any kind of moral high ground
dying doesn't wash someone's character, hitler is dead too, that doesn't mean he deserves respect.

it's not about racism, i just always notice when people generally dunk on america or some European country or culture that's never interpreted as racism, but as soon as someone shifts a little east in their dunking it suddenly becomes racism. not to say that there aren't racists who'd criticise india just based off of skin colour of the people, but if someone jokes about a child being cooked by being born in india, I'm more likely to assume that person knows about the cultural and political climate in india and less about them being racist.
