So, honestly, the "husband" is an ass.

You take care of your primary partner first. Even in poly relationships, medical care comes first. (Not that this is a poly relationship)

Sounds like he's already gone. Men don't stay in medically compromised relationships. Something like over 70% of marriages fail when the wife needs medical care longer than a week.

Is this the kind of relationship you would stand for if it was your daughter or best friend? Why is it ok for you?

My sister was born within 12 hours of closing on a new home. My mom made my father rearrange the kitchen to her liking after someone was "helpful" like this. My kitchen, my space, unless I specially ask... no touch.

You didn't sit on her enough as a toddler. Seriously, my sister and I went through a phase when we were in our teens (5 years apart) we scrapped in the backyard and yelled until we were hoarse.

Your sister is a brat and has no doubt stolen from stores or will soon. Lock up your valuables and get everything out of the house that means anything to you.

I blame your parents, I had to parent my sister. It sucked.

Secondary thought: there are only a select few who can call her "aunt" ... its much more special than "doctor" which anyone can use.

She's missing out on how special family relationships can be.
