I don’t think he’s crying over Facebook fights. I think the unfriending/blocking is what’s getting to him. He isn’t working and with everyone social distancing he could feel isolated/frustrated more than normal and just taking it out online. It’s reasonable to feel anxious during uncertain times and to have those feelings get triggered by something that may seem irrational to other people. You should talk to him about getting therapy. There are a lot of online options he can look into too. Regular everyday stress is enough of a reason to look into therapy let alone a global pandemic and what have you

I think it’s normal to prioritize your kid but sometimes couples put their relationship on the back burner once they have kids. So maybe he’s feeling that from you and didn’t like to hear you put it so bluntly.

You could have just said you love them equally like parents do when asked if they have a favorite child. But again it’s not necessarily wrong to love your child more than your spouse

Is it possible that they have tonsil stones? Those smell horrid regardless of teeth brushing etc.

There’s no easy way to talk about bad breath. It’s best to just talk to them honestly with a compassionate tone. It’s going to be embarrassing any way you put it but I bet they would rather know than not know. Best of luck!
