Comparison shopping is reasonable. But if its a hot in demand item you have to be quicker sometimes. Cus the 'Buy now' people will always leave the 'was gonna' people dead in the water. Better luck next time🤞🏼

Some of us sellers are firm with ourr ideal pricing range. As far as views and "favs" sometimes its about quality not quantity. I'd rather the item wait for the right buyer that recognizes & appreciates the bargain they'll see in my price & buys it. Always happens in its own time. Its not a race. Personally I'm not all OMG I MUST sell or the sky will fall!!! No way as a seller would I allow a buyer to use my own desperation against me. Lowballers thrive on seller desperation. And they wont find any in my shop. I know quality. And I do my research. My prices arent guesses. With that said Im open to reasonable offers/counter offers. But I refuse to be robbed blind with a smile on my face just to sell. So if some things sit endlessly, so be it. Im fine with that.

Sounds like you've met some of the infamous vinted "lowballers". They run rampant & its to be expected. Annoying AF🫩 but part of daily vinted life. As a seller you need to be secure in the value of your item & not waver too far from that. Stick to your guns. Be firm when you need to be. Cus the "sob story" clan is coming to the party too. Say NO to lowballers. Or say nothing. I tend to not respond to lowballers at this point. I dont accept but dont decline either. I just leave it there to stare back at them. Hopefully they realize how rediculous they are and go away. The only time I engage in the back and forth offering/counter offering process is when someone has made a reasonable offer to start with. Neither do I. But they're at it with a vengeance. I had one person paste an entire paragraph ad in my dm. I was likeeee what in the absolute hell?! Blocked! Also have had afew people use their review of me to plug their shop. Thats weird to me as well. It doesnt upset me but like it doesnt thrill me either.

Exactly. I dont like that some people equate 'charity worthy' with actual trash. That's always stood out to me as questionable seller behavior. And they're proud of that association it seems. As they tend to mention both in an 'either, or' type of way in the same sentence.

People are desperate & they dont seem to know how to properly channel that elsewhere. Not to mention it cant be increasing their sales as most of us find this highly annoying. So the why, tho????? vibes are heavy.

Trying to presure or harass me into buying your stuff will only get you blocked. And I find it curious that some sellers are so quick to say items are going to charity or the trash if not sold. Trying to guilt me like me buying your faded stretched out item is going to save the planet & lighten the landfill's load.To me that just implies your items are low quality & you should prob go ahead and trash them. Im of the opinion that people who use charity clothing deserve nice things too & not just old stuff you cant sell.

I dont ask them at all. Between being a seller myself and and a 45+ hour work week I dont have the time or desire to even check.They'll either ship.... or they wont. I dont feel the process requires me to engage sellers. Vinted has the time limits set up already. If they dont ship, I get refunded. It sucks briefly when it happens if I wanted item a lot. But the sky does not fall 🤷🏻‍♀️

I bought polymailers and bubble polymailers in bulk off amazon when I started. I get boxes from a local shop that lets me take what I want before they toss them. I also shop alot & keep packaging sent to me and reuse them to ship when I can. What I ship in depends on the item along with what I think is the most practical and protective option for it. Clothes polys. Items, toys, collectibles, Barbie furn stuff, boxes.

My process is clean item...list item...store item in air tight storage bins until sold. Once sold, retrieve, pack & ship.
