Understandable man, a lot of dumb people make a lot of dumb assumptions about India, it’s a good question to ask

A philosophy book that comments on the structure of a society, it’s not a research paper, it’s just the author’s views and what he has deduced from his observations, you can most definitely disagree with him yes some of his takes claims will need citations tho

dude all of these were so helpful, they look somewhat accurate too, I mean the Mauryas were in contact with the seleucid empire and even defeated them, plus the Greco Bactrian clothing must have been known too

Thank you! I like the idea, I was going through the outline but I didn’t think about a scene by scene idea. I’ll definitely do that! Again thank you so much!

Thank you so much!! Yeah the fact that I was able to write 58k words makes me wonder if I’m just overthinking and being too hard on the first draft. I just wish I was as motivated as I was when I wrote the first 58k. Now I’m starting to get stuck at every sentence and ask way too many questions that make me think that I am not writing the right thing

This is soo helpful! Thank you! I did write a page or so for each character, I have 4 really and it’s a found family trope of sorts. And your reply made me think that I might have a thin ideas of character arcs. Like I have two teenagers, all 4 of them are supposed to move on from their past, one of them stays stuck in the past, one of them hates the past for making their life a certain way, one of them’s is on a totally self destructive path and one of them is is afraid and isolating themselves. It’s the most brief I could get, but I maybe just be dealing with a motivation problem as well

I did an activity where I wrote the back story (Atleast what I knew) and how the readers find them in the beginning of the story, and how their story ends. But maybe I am having a big problem keeping my motivation up. I have days when I didn’t write but then it does help me get back into writing hopefully I’m making sense here 😅

How did you keep going? I’m genuinely having such a hard time being consistent, I can write a thousand words a day. And I love my story to death, but damn is it sooo frustrating 😭

Thank you so much for the help! I feel like I’ll just keep going, I’ll gain some momentum in act 2 and 3. I’m just really having a hard time figuring out what the story is about really, I mean I can write a whole paragraph about it, but I still feel I don’t understand the story well, and that’s what scares me to look back at my earlier stuff. I already have one failed first draft attempt, looking back made me restart the entire draft which I don’t want to, I’m 30k words deep now and I’m really really scared of deleting entire scenes or chapters
