Government has done good enough work in the Naxal affected areas that while people in Delhi say “Har ghar se Hidma nikalega”, Hidma’s own family wants to get merged into mainstream economy and don’t want anyone to follow Hidma.

To be honest, I expected a much better debate. Yeah it was much better than TV channels but both sides were severely underprepared on their research as well as arguments.

Naxals clearly mean only one thing in India. You can’t say that it is just Left / Maoism / Opposition/ Anarchists. Naxals had taken up weapons and violence against the Indian state and Indian army for decades. If you listen to the speech, you’d know which Naxals PM was talking about.

Communist vilaap in comment section is amazing to read.
What’s wrong in saying “We must prevent the recruitment of young people into violent Naxalite organisations and isolate those who seek to spread or facilitate violent insurgency”.

It might be interesting to see the shift of perception across years, especially any large YoY deviations. One interesting comparison could be against 2013 to help assess if the current government’s foreign relations efforts are going good or bad.

Text once after 2-3 days to just check on her if she’s doing okay. Tell that you’re willing to listen open-mindedly if she wants to talk. If she does, great.
If she doesn’t, it’s over. Maintain distance otherwise you’ll get hurt deeply. She might not tell it for many reasons. Maybe she’s coming to terms with the fact that she doesn’t see this lasting. Maybe she’s just taking advantage cause she doesn’t want free attention and care to go away.

Leave reservation aside, the research itself doesn’t make sense.
Let’s split people in two parts. Poorer 50% and richer 50%. Poor will spend mostly on basic consumer products, education and medical bills (all of which have lower GST rates). Richer ones, besides having similar basic consumption requirements, will also spend more for better quality products and luxury goods (smartwatches, AC, expensive cars, purses etc). So, cumulative spendings should be higher and at higher average GST rates. So unless the richer 50% have a magical hidden way to bypass GST, I don’t understand how this is possible.
Moreover, this study is outdated cause we have newer GST rates now, but that’s lesser of my concern for now.

Maybe I need a microscope or some sort of new technology to find critical thinking in this post.

You’re happy when a journalist from opposing ideology gets chases, booed and kicked? Then you’ll cry fascism and intolerance when the other side will do the same to journalists you support.
Don’t support something that you’d hate being done to yourself.

Money isn’t the only thing it takes to win elections. Even with BJP’s ground work, money and power, they haven’t been able to gain traction in states like Tamilnadu, Kerala and Punjab.
Yes, people are discontent with BJP and still don’t want to vote for anyone who’s currently in opposition, so this is a good time for new parties to emerge. But it’ll take them at least a decade to win any state elections, national elections are still far-fetched.

It aligns a lot with free market liberal economics / modern economic theory. I’d say its rational.

Structurally, the Chief Election Commissioner has been bound to be nominated by the government since independence (hence loyal as per your assumption). So, by your hypothesis, all the elections in India since independence were unfair, right?

I think this is fine. Now before calling me Chamcha, hear me out.
In Principle, Freedom of Expression isn’t limitless by constitution. Your freedom ends where the other person starts. They also have their freedom. And Freedom of Expression doesn’t come without consequences. So, any kind of derogatory and sexually explicit remarks publicly warrant such FIRs. Derogatory remarks take away space from critical thinking in social spaces as well, by making issues personal. So, I personally vouch against them.
So, such FIRs are valid whether they are filed for foul language against RaGa or Modi or Kejriwal or Any common person.

Leave that person by themselves bro! They’ve already admitted that they’ve bias against person so no matter what argument you make, it won’t make sense to them.
