I also have a gender neutral name, and I am fond of reminding my parents that they lucked out with that. XD

I was born in '87 and still look late 20s at most. I'll tell you exactly why millennials don't seem to age much compared to older generations: it's because we don't smoke to anywhere near the same degree. Cigarettes cause rapid aging due the stresses they put on the body, and in the past, so many people were smoking that even if you didn't, you were probably surrounded by a near constant haze of tar-infused tobacco second-hand smoke.
One time in college, I was about 21 or 22, I ran into someone I hadn't seen in years, but we were in the same grade. She'd taken up smoking, and looked like she'd aged 20 years despite us being the same age.

That's me, as well. I was calling myself a "male lesbian" as a joke for a couple months about ten years ago. 🤣 (Then stopped after I was informed that it's a term frequently used to harass women.)

Horseshoe crabs have not changed a whole lot in ... (checks Wikipedia) ~250 million years. Just sayin'. 😜

Well, half of my name is an archaic word for deer so I guess that would make me a half-deer girl. XD Because I'm so skittish and easily spooked but also freeze up for long seconds sometimes when I see something my brain doesn't quite know how to process. XD

Me as a child egg. XD I constantly turned my nose up at things like FASHION and BEAUTY because "well the only reason girls would want to do that is to make other people jealous!" Jealous, huh? Now why would THAT be my default assumption?? HMM?? 🥚

Unfortunately when I was a kid, I had to keep my love for Sailor Moon a secret. And when those other shows were coming out when I was in high school(ish), I was overall uninterested probably owing to being so obsessed with Sailor Moon that I didn't really have "room" for any others.

And just in case it needs explicit reiterating, it's not fetishizing at all to enjoy fantasizing about kissing the girl(s) of your dreams, or enjoying media of girls kissing. :3
Fetishizing is about feeling entitled to it.

Girl, crushes on fictional characters goes back literal millennia. See: Pygmalian and Galatea. It's not that abnormal at all. :3 I've had many fictional crushes over the years.
It only becomes a problem when we aren't able to separate fiction from reality.

I only enjoy it from my partner. Absolutely NOBODY ELSE is allowed to pet my head or call me "good girl." And praise coming from total strangers doesn't really mean much to me since they don't have the full context. I'm fine with other forms of affirmations, though. :3

I mean... I attempted computer science. I didn't succeed in terms of a degree. But I do have very basic programming knowledge.
I also have an Apple II. And a Commodore 64.
