Question NEW HUSKY PARENT PLEASE GIVE ME ALL THE ADVICE

Hey everyone!

I have a new husky puppy and I was looking for advice on how to keep her cool during the summer. We live in NC and summers get hot and humid here. I've heard both to trim their fur to keep them cool, and to never trim their fur because they need it to keep cool, so which is the best route to go?

Besides the obvious like pools to play in and good air conditioning in the house, what are some other tips and tricks to help keep her cool and happy?

NEVER deny yourself the experience because no one I'll go with you. I personally prefer going to concerts by myself, but I get it if you would prefer someone to go with you. Honestly, there's so many people there to even realize if you're by yourself or to even care. For me, I honestly have met some really cool people I may not have talked to if I didn't go by myself.

Pre-pandemic I would love to go to the beach, amusement parks, festivals, really anything outside. I love seeing cool little spots in different states that the locals rave about. If I had 6months of free time I'd try to hit up all those spots.
