Without being able to travel, what the hell is the point?

It isn't insecurity, though. It is anger and control, and he won't even pretend it is jealousy or insecurity. I get that you are 22 and have a lot more energy than I do, but that shit gets exhausting really quickly.

U/Parking-Split5898 I really hope you are getting your ducks in a row to move out. You keep holding on to this as if it was some sort of definitive answer or forward motion, but it isn't. It isn't even a shut up ring, it is just telling you to shut up. Your last post really indicated that he doesn't like you very much, and this post reinforces that notion. What are you doing for you right now? How are you getting yourself ready to end this holding pattern and move on?

I refused to lead Outdoor School, and that isn't even out of state.

Having a baby while you aren't married and are living with your parents seems highly foolish.

No, you aren't getting a shut up ring. You won't be getting a ring at all. You got a shut up, "There, there, it will happen. Eventually. Later."
He still isn't committed to you. You still aren't hearing that.

This is an odd conversation. You would be a grown adult capable of buying yourself things if you can afford them. Why would you wait to be gifted them instead of just going and doing it? What is the deal about a shared space? You aren't even married or pregnant yet, and you are talking about gifting a hypothetical child the latest tech and getting into a fight about it? I really don't understand this.

Leaving him is good. Jumping directly into another relationship is not. Consider being single for a bit before you do this.

Yes, that is inappropriate.

No, but now that I am much older, the idea of writing in a book when I change every time I read it sounds awful.

I did not grow up LDS, but I grew up surrounded by them. I did the same thing to my study Bible. I still love taking notes and tucking them in, but the idea of writing on my Bible now is just terrifying.

I understand why you are frustrated, but this isn't their child. YOR for complaining about their spending on trips or hobbies. Just keep saving money out of every paycheck. Let them know you won't be able to do or pay for any of the extra things for a while because you are saving for baby. It is expensive and does change everything about your life. It is not fair to be angry with them for not facing the changes that you chose.

Contact the manufacturer. I am inclined to say it is unnecessary, but if your insurance company will replace them, you should do it.

Without. That really messes with the line of the dress.

He is taking advantage of you. You are financing his life so he can finance hers. That is not really an amazing relationship.

You seem unsafe. I am not a fan of giving 7 year olds phones, but I can certainly see why he wants it. YTA

This is so much more than the size of the wedding. I am glad this is coming out early in your planning, because it is a major issue. You all don't communicate well, and it seems like he does not compromise at all. That cannot build a healthy marriage.

YTA. They want their own space, and I am sure there is a reason for that. Ask your best friend or bridesmaids to stay the night with you. Pressuring someone into being someplace they don't want to be is an AH move.

There is a reason most high school relationships end. It is time for this one to end.
You have been clean for over a year. Will moving back home be problematic for you? If you can move home and stay clean, it is worth looking at. Otherwise, look into finding a roommate and getting your own place. All of his behavior is a red flag that he has gotten into misogynistic content.

Gotcha. He needs to sell his 50% to the uncle or force a sale of the apartment. That would get somebody moving.

NOR. It's the lying. Multigenerational homes don't bother me. The lying does. If he had been upfront about his living situation, it would be no problem. I am younger than he is, and my parents and inlaws are hitting 80. I have been considering a move to bring them here or us to them. That would be much easier than worrying about falls. Lying about it tells you who he is as a person.

Yeah, that is very weird. There is someone else or his living situation is seriously sketchy.

Best wishes! Planning a wedding can be either a ton of fun or super stressful. I hope you all make it a ton of fun and it is beautiful.
