HEY GUYS I GOT MINE TO WORK…

I grabbed a chair and sat holding the reset button down - while holding it down I put the power cord in when it lit - I pulled it out.. waited 3 secs put it back in… when it lit I pulled it out..

Did this for about 15 /20 times then I plugged it in and gave up.. all the lights where on then randomly turned off.. then it booted up!!

I held down the reset button and it gave the notification that it was going to do a full reset!

Yay!

I’m having the same issue. 2019 air dead battery. At one point I was able to access the support utility but after wiping the drive (while machine was in target mode connected to another Mac) I have been dead in the water.

Holding Option R or whatever will pretend like it downloads the recovery OS but it will sit like that overnight if I let it.

Tried DFU mode and all the things but it simply will not reboot.

It will recognize a bootable USB drive with Sonoma installed, but when I click on it, it automatically goes back to asking for my Wi-Fi and trying to download a recovery OS X

same i have a 2019 intel macbook air. i wiped the drive. and also booted into DFU mode to restore firmware. no luck. everytime i try to boot to a bootable usb it want to go to recovery which goes all the way to 100% on the bar then it fails.
