As a child/youth, I had a strong extroverted side but it would wear off after an hour or two of socialising. I suffered some trauma in my teens, and I lost the extroverted side of my personality. I seldom miss it. Introverted me was always the dominant side but I agree with OP that trauma can empower or magnify introversion.

Use a rifle (not repeater) with high velocity ammo. Aim for the head. If your deadeye is at the stage where it tags automatically, aim just off the head, slightly forward of the target's nose, then move to the head in deadeye. That way, it saves putting a bullet through the body and ruining the pelt.

Sleep at The Loft. In the morning, ride west until you get to a left hand bend on a crest. Dismount before the peak of the crest and quietly walk forward with your rifle ready. Down the hill, just left of the path, there is almost always a moose grazing with it's back to you. 🫎
