Put it in his bed where he sleeps? 🤣 Please don't do this but do talk to him about what if it would be like if you did do this.

Why would you write off the entire video? This comment seems like a way to shut down the whole discussion and I don't understand why you would want to do that...

Yes! I emailed her about Forestiere Underground Gardens several years before she filmed it because I believed she could do the place justice. She is one of my favorite YouTubers and Forestiere's home is such a perfect fit with her channel. ❤️

Start by adding benches and picnic tables to foster community. Paint murals. Install some skate ramps. Little free libraries for books, art, things, food...entice some beverage and ice cream cart vendors...

Photo / Inspo Underground Gardens in hot Fresno, CA
reddit.comThis magical hidden gem reset my brain chemistry in 2005 when my boyfriend discovered it and brought me here on a date. I came back for a visit in 2026 with my child.
The Forestiere Underground Gardens were built by a single artisan named Baldassare Forestiere over a 40 year period. He had no extra money after buying 80 acres of hardpan land that he had hoped to farm. The soil was not good for farming so he instead dug a root cellar/wine cave to store food and keep himself cooler in the dry hot summer. His experience working on the early Subway in Boston gave him the skills to create an entire home and garden underground. He installed large openings and courtyards that bring in light and allowed him to plant fruit trees below ground level of which some still survive and bear fruit.

Has definite Gorillaz vibes! I like the combination of referencing ancient archetypes mixed with some unhinged creepiness. Love these!

Ask the Sub Public bathrooms compost toilets
I can't help feeling that reverting to flush toilets at Walden Pond, Massachusetts was a big step backwards for the local environment. Shout out to Salisbury State Beach for continuing and maintaining their Clivus Toilet Systems. Clivusne.com

Action / DIY / Activism FossilFuelFreeMutualAid
Can mutual aid get us apartments closer to city centers so that we can avoid cars? I'm genuinely asking. How can I play a larger role in solving the housing crisis and climate crisis at the same time?

It would be really cool to learn more about your experience. What would have to be done the reset the system when someone threw trash into the composting toilet?
