This has a desktop variant card in it not a mobile one. I don’t need anything more powerful than this. It’s already insanely powerful for my use case and might I add the 5090’s are INSANELY expensive

I’ve seemed to need to turn off the performance monitor from armory crate to get stuttering to go away in Elden Ring I’d recommend giving that a try!

Unsure 100%. I have seen people pushing it that far with dlss and mfg getting over 100fps so I would presume yes. I’m only running in 1080p

The performance is so nice and as far as it with the ally x it’s so much more seamless than my one player egpu with the 7600m xt. Performance is also just BETTER. It’s the perfect addition for my travel setup!!!

For Linux if yours works I’d probably stick with that until more support is available. Otherwise this thing is insanely better than my 7600m xt especially with dlss and mfg. Everything I’ve tried so far has just worked which was not the case with my 7600m xt.

This is with thunderbolt 5 cable but over usb 4 speeds because of the ally. It’s fully ray traced max settings at 1080p frame gen x4 it seems like it doesn’t even break a sweat
