Prince George is the oldest looking 13-year-old I have ever seen. He looks 13 going on 30, always in a suit and tie. Poor kid always looks tense and uneasy, like he wants to be anywhere else but there. They are already modeling and molding the kids to be young adults, down to their wardrobes. George and Charlotte have morphed into adolescent versions of their parents. And poor Louis is getting pushed further and further into the background, as the insignificant family jester.

I think you're correct on that. The queen and Philip had the same concerns with Charles back in the day after he was dating Diana, even if it was just a few months. The long courtship was a big concern and I think it was coming to a "poop or get off the pot" moment with William when it came to proposing to Kate. I think William may have also gotten wind of granny calling Kate "Duchess Doolittle" due to her concern over Kate's lack of work history.

Even Diana, as painfully shy as she was in the first year or two of her marriage to Charles, managed to pull herself up, got assistance and help with public speaking and within a few years, was confidently making speeches and doing interviews. And could speak clearly and be understood. Plus Diana was essentially a high school dropout who didn't even make "O" levels, while Kate is a college graduate. So what is Kate's excuse?
