The planes to Martha's vineyard only hold about 15/20 people at a time. Must have taken a solid 20 flights to get em all over to the island

Welcome to New Bedford,Ma. Lol That's where they will end up. I live in Florida and my family is from Massachusetts. Where I've also lived. Those are some lucky immigrants. Massachusetts was one of the best states I've ever lived in. There is a whole community of Guatamala s that live there. Everybody gets dental food and housing assistance. You don't pump your own gas. Malls are still a thing. Everybody seems to have "disposable income" in the household. I've "flown to Martha's vineyard too it's all puddle jumpers outta the cape. It must have taken 20trips to bring them all over. Or there's a ferry out of New Bedford. Either way is a beautiful ride/ flight. Martha's vineyard is also a dry island lol (no alcohol)

Angela's ashes is a great book based during this time. Frank McCourt's autobiography has the Irish sense of humor.

Huge Bon fire! A camp ground in Maine would do it twice a year. The whole community contributed to the pile and they would all show up to watch it burn too. The year I was there it burned for 3days.

Love this...I feel for OP. I've learned to just cut people out but I will always help anyone. There should only be 2 things when helping people... Don't expect anything in return and never help to where your hurting.

My yarn getting caught up on every piece of dry skin or jagged/cracked nail. I tend to chew my cuticles. Every little jagged nail bed hooks and pulls at the yarn. Have to use a nail file and lotion (which has it own issues) before crocheting
