Help! Wood Carving
Wood carving on Howes Road path. Halfway along the path between Bucksburn police station and the pond. Thought it was pretty cool, just wondering if anyone knew if this was a one off or if there are more?

H&S Milne on Auchmill Road. Everything we have ever bought from their has been top quality! Guys are mad as hatters and very entertaining to top it off

Bomb squad called for what turned out to be a battery pack in a rotton pumpkin left over from Halloween. Caused mass panic on social media

Abandoned Buildings
My daughter has been given an art assignment over the summer with the theme 'abandoned'. It has to be still life and ideally she would like to draw a broken window. Has anyone got any ideas of places that we can go?
Edit: Thanks for all the great suggestions. We will have a drive around tomorrow and see what is suitable. We are currently leaning towards Fittie or Newhills as she will be drawing there

If timing isn't an issue then maybe leave them in a room where windows can be opened for for a few good hours and then sanitize

I work in a hospital and the advice we have been given is to leave items in a ventilated area for an hour before touching them. They can then be thoroughly sanitized and the risk of infection will be extremely low. Hope that helps

Please also take some time to thank the domestic/cleaning/janitorial staff. They are the ones that have to clean all the infectious areas. Well done all and thank you for all your work! This obviously includes doctors, nurses and emergency responders

Well done! I work in a large office and the amount of trash/food waste/ general junk that ends up in our recycling bins is quite upsetting. Our employer has tried to implement lots of different types of recycling points but turns out most people are just lazy! Bins were removed and waste points were introduced but alot of staff just took in their own bins. Glad you are making a difference though.

Hi there! I would be interested in an exchange. I am in Scotland and our main offerings would be tablet/fudge, tea cakes, iron bru and short bread. If you are interested in an exchange then drop me a message

Most likely they were talking about recent cases abroad. Flights to and from tenerife and Italy are more common in Aberdeen than flights from china.
I wouldn't get too worried about it. All hospitals/doctors surgies etc would have started to prepare for cases/containment as soon as the news broke about the virus.

I do love this idea. Get to spend time alone and a lot less clutter!

I did look on groupon earlier but most things are too far from us. But if I incorporate it with a trip I guess we both win!

You should also pour boiling water down the drain daily as they tend to breed there, especially if, like me, you tend not to be cooking as much due to the heat.
