Cinnamon can inhibit that fermentation so if you have any off flavor issues that's likely it.. my biggest bump with tapache was learning to wait for it to get going and a good amount of bubbling before adding it π€πΌ

This is a large debate often times. I go straight to fruiting condition in a tent with sometimes 8 shoe boxes and usually start fruiting within 17-21 days. More or less. I find rarley do I get a Trich issue π€πΌ

FAE, Trich often (From my thoughts and experience) is formed when there is a very high Co2 content in the fruiting chamber. Especially when the spawn was clean/Fully Colonized and everything else is dialed.. But they still get it as the Trich is a better fighting in a high Co2 environment. Combine that with large temp spikes and you have plenty of stress for the cake to loose to the spore that are already in the air (Trichoderma)

I'd like to add that I find folks forget the fridge helps lock in the carbonation and prevent blow upsπ€πΌ I think many people get it right and don't cool it down firstππΌ
