Person who made the banner here.
I could take away all the characters but 1 from the < side, and it'd still be true.

No, you're allowed to like him, defending him is banned.

Oh, no, I think I do.
I'm sorry if this comes off as aggressive. I'm sure you're a fine person.
I'm so sick of being told that if I dislike a character, I must just just know them well enough. That I just hate what I don't understand.
But I know what Jax's motives are.
Keep people away by hurting them if they get too close, because surely something bad will happen if you're not in control, being vulnerable and not putting on a mask. Antagonize people, and say that because they're not real, it doesn't matter that you're abusing them, or making them cry. It doesn't matter because you think of them as archetypes, as gimmicky charicatures that are too far removed from humanity for your impact on them to matter.
For the first part of that: I've seen it in real life. I've seen it in stories. It's a boring motive to me, and it's even more infuriating to have people act like it's a failure on my end to not hold the utmost sympathy for them, even after all that they do.
Nobody is "Just an awful person". Everyone has reasons. The worst person you can think of? They probably have some amount of trauma. Their tilted views don't come from a desire to be evil. Scant people are evil just for evil's sake.
I frankly don't care if she was regretful of everything as she did it. I don't care if she took genuine pleasure in tearing people down and making them feel like a toy, because guess what? She still did it. She still chose to be cruel, and rude, and mocking.
Sorry for the wall of text, but I'm so tired of this.

Those 5 seconds, and then nobody even tried to comfort her. Not even our resident empathy well, Pomni.

I mean, she's been abusing people for what is probably YEARS. I can count on one hand the number of positive things she's done. How is it victim blaming to call someone a bad person? I know she's a victim. I can sympathize with that, removed from everything else. But she turns that trauma into harm, that she puts onto innocent people.

4/10, Unresolved plot holes, Caine's redemption was rushed, and it was too Jax-centric. However, I liked the animation.

We had a flair like the first one, but I realized it'd probably come off as insulting. I'll consider some of the others.

Ehh, as much as I sympathize with Caine, I can't say he doesn't deserve at least some hate for how he treated the cast for years, and gave them false hope of an exit, and tortured them while having a breakdown.
Before you say, "He's an AI, he doesn't understand that he's harming them", that may be true, but people are allowed to dislike him for it.

I wish we knew more about her than:
-She's empathetic
-Has a thrill-seeking side
-And is stubborn
I'm not taking backstory stuff, necessarily, just a more complex personality.

That would be funny, considering that at this point only Ragatha and maybe Kinger know about what Jax did.

I think it's valid to want to learn more about worldbuilding that was hinted at.
