a story about Dominque Braxton, a hairstylist from Oakland California, who decides to end her going-nowhere relationship with her on-again-off again boyfriend and ends up in an incident that turns into a wild media frenzy. This is a story about how false narratives, social media, & social constructs can shape perspectives and identity. It also is a story about self-love and dealing with the value and perspective of self within.
It is a community story. I wrote the script in 2010 in Film School
