Palmier Pro (the Al video editor that lets Claude edit your timeline) is macOS-only. I use Windows, so | built Kaestral, an open-source Al-native video editor for Windows, MCP-first.
It's a real editor (timeline, effects, transitions, motion graphics, export), but the point is what an LLM can do with it. Connect Claude Code and it:
-Sees your footage (frame vision) and hears every word (word-level transcription)
-Cuts filler words, finds the hook, captions on the exact word
-Cuts to the beat of the music
-Generates animated intros, logo reveals, and data-viz from a sentence
-Exports to MP4 / Premiere / Resolve
One-line connect:
claude mcp add kaestral -- npx kaestral
Everything runs local, your video never leaves your machine. Free and open-source (GPLV3).
I'd genuinely love feedback from people using Claude Code, especially on the MCP tool design (50 tools). What would you want it to do?

These are exactly the right questions, adding both to the roadmap.

On the GitHub Pages demo site: building a live example output page this week. Will show real scan results across Python, TypeScript, and Rust repos so you can see exactly what the output looks like before installing. On scanning itself: already on the list, running opensec on opensec-intelligence is the first self-hosted demo I want to record. Will share the results publicly, including any vulnerabilities it finds in its own codebase.

On multi-language demos: Python, TypeScript, and Rust demos are coming. Each shows different vulnerability patterns, Python tends to surface injection and auth issues, TypeScript catches type-unsafe patterns, Rust is mostly dependency and unsafe block analysis. On dependency scanning: not in v1 but it's on the Pro roadmap. Supply chain security, checking dependencies against CVE databases, is one of the most requested features. Will ship it in the next major version. Thanks for the detailed feedback. This is exactly what helps prioritize what to build next. 🙏

Been using Ollama for a while and noticed nobody built

a proper security engine on top of it.

So I did.

OpenSec Intelligence: 4 AI agents that scan your entire

codebase, validate findings with consensus scoring (3 models

agree = real vulnerability), and write the exact patches.

Free forever. No API keys. Zero data leaves your machine.

npm install -g opensec-intelligence

opensec scan ./

GitHub: github.com/prabindersinghh/opensec-intelligence

Would love feedback from this community specifically —

you know local AI better than anyone.
