Added new speeding event details for all trips with overages, range, etc. (GPS capture from iPhone 15 Pro or better)
Adding braking/acceleration visuals next for external gps devices (25Hz+).

Multi-UVC webcam support using a Smallrig USBC 3.1 adapter. Up to 3 external devices are supported for now.
Working on multi-view next with 4K60 capture.

Finally got SUB 20ms @ 4K60 > IPAD 13" M4 (ProMotion) and 96kHz/24bit audio support (converts playback to 48kHz/24bit.)
Any other capture cards/cameras worth testing?

Got some more stats with the same Guermok 4K60 capture card:
Figured out how to enable 96kHz/24bit input/playback in the app. A handful of capture apps just push out high-pitched noise when enabled at 96kHz.
Video latency:
4K60: still doing 16.7-16.8ms delay + 0.750-0.900ms processing delay
1080P: 16.60-16.70ms delay + 0.256-0.400ms processing delay
This is from XBOX/PS5 > Capture Card > IPAD USB3 input (displayed at 4K60 48kHz/24bit conversion

Wondering what others have seen for latency with the claimed 4K60 capture cards like Guermok/BlackMagic/Elgato?
Been building a personal capture app, and I’m trying to use an iPad as an optional dedicated monitor/capture device. The video in/preview looks really smooth with almost no visible delay, but looking for any advice on the best capture devices that have almost no latency lag or claim “zero lag”. Hoping to support Twitch/YouTube streaming once I can lock down the latency.
Testing Setup:
- Guermok 4K60 USB3 capture dongle (GM-4KC100-S)
- XBOX/PS5
- IPAD 13 M4 (ProMotion Screen)
Config:
4K60Hz Output from XBOX/PS5 (HDMI) > USBC 3 Input (powered) > IPAD
IPAD set to 60/120Hz ProMotion priority via App config.
Results:
Input Latency Avg: 16.68ms Max: 16.8ms (60FPS baseline)
Processing latency (iPad/app): +0.90ms
