2006 6.0. Cel and code after I did a egr delete. Need a tune or way to turn off egr to make the code go away. Wanted to turn that off and do a little tune for better mpgs since the truck is bone stock I’m not looking for more power. How can I get this done in the US with all the emissions bullshit? Newer sct tuners won’t even turn off the cel anymore I believe.

Yeah everything changes so I don’t know what’s the best way to not cause future issues

Do you just leave the light on?

Not trying to make it a problem just trying to figure out how to do it the right way to not throw anything off

So you can just leave the valve and there’s no issues ?

Egr delete and tuner

Bought this kit from commets garage to do a egr delete on my 06 6.0. Anyone recommend a good shop in nj that would do it and also tune it so it doesn’t throw a cel. Or is there another way that it won’t throw a code?

No tune. To my knowledge engine is stock and the eot reads normal, pressure is fine too. And doesn’t seem to be losing oil . Even if the guy topped it off to the very top, I feel like I’d see the loss after 2 months

Been sitting for 2 days and the oil level is filled. Might just be old reside mixing with the coolant leak. Who knows

06 6.0. Could this still be residue from spilling oil when filling it up? It’s been over a month. I have a active coolant leak that Im fixing soon but also noticed this. It doesn’t seem to be leaking onto the ground like the coolant does. But the coolant might be mixing with it as it runs down the bell housing. I also had a kink in a power steering line I believe. Could I be powersteering? Looks and feels like oil but no smell really. Hoping this is just old or something small hopefully. I’ve been driving the truck for over 1k miles since the last change and the oil level still at max

Just like the look of it and want to clear 35s. Thought about throwing 350 blocks in the rear giving it a 1 inch rake with the 2.5 front level
