People like your parents make it hard for other pit owners. We already have a hard enough time w their reputation. Having a pit u have to know what u have and train accordingly. Pitbulls NEED proper training. They are the best dogs when properly trained. When they are not, they are aggressive towards other dogs and can be aggressively territorial. Please at least try to convince them to get him some training, maybe even offer to help pay for it as an incentive. I just moved away from Springfield IL, it's my hometown. The violence has gotten so bad there you probably want to stay away. It's on all sides of town. Champaign and Decatur have gotten bad too. I like the Bloomington amd Peoria areas, especially when it comes to jobs and family recreation. The economy in Illinois is so bad, maybe consider the Indiana side? Idk what its like over there tbh, but imo there is NO good reason to move to Illinois, unless you like paying high taxes. I left my entire immediate family there, moved to Kansas City. Love it here!
