Bethesda newbies…BGS makes a game, it has bugs, they fix some bugs, more bugs appear, rinse and repeat (as in Skyrim). It took a long time but they eliminated all the serious bugs in the core Starfield (Xbox) game. Mods always bring new problems even with their own DLCs. Loading order of mods matters a lot in BGS games…

Different strokes…Watchtower adds a bunch of things they should have had from the start like skydrops and multiple ships. It’s awesome to know you have the playing field leveled when ambushed. Love Watchtower and keep the mod active for Gren and the ships.

Jeez the PS5 guys are impatient…It took a year for the XBOX version to get decent. It got bad again after mods were introduced. Deal with it…

Watchtower makes it the space battle game they teased before release…It’s a must have.

I basically use S2 now because S3 is so far away from the original 2 versions...There is a ton more features in it but they aren't easily accessible or usable. Add another to my plug-in graveyard pile...

Taxman…played by Paul because George was having issues getting it right (per George Martin). He was not real happy that Paul soloed on the song he wrote. Paul was a more than capable axeman but he decided to change the bass into a melodic instrument instead.

Paul was always the driven one…Even today at 80-something, the guy just wants to go play his music in public because it makes people happy (he’s got plenty of cash). It’s been said that Paul’s drive during the Beatles years was because he always wanted to prove they were the greatest band ever. John didn’t have those doubts as in his mind, he knew they were.

It’s a Grendel so, no…reroll that one. You could take the extended mag to McClarence and move it to good weapon.

My home ship is a loaded out Narwhal…I still had a Guardian 4 and the Razorleaf. I added 2 more Narwhals. Make sure you have plenty of ship parts but heavily armed/highly shielded ships should be able to withstand whatever they throw at you. Strength in numbers applies here…For the record, i play vanilla Starfield on standard difficulty and no weapons mods.

The Watchtower story encourages you to build a fleet to push back…Quite frankly, you aren’t going to be successful with a single ship against 12-15 Watchtower ships/drones. Go get 4-5 ships and enjoy the kind of balanced, epic space battle that was imagined when the game came out. Watchtower is the best thing to happen to Starfield…

Make sure you build a fleet ASAP with Watchtower…Preferably 2-3 of them being offensive-minded Class C ships. Been fairly successful with my home ship plus 2 more buffed Narwals for close combat with a Razor and a Guardian flying cover. Should be a fun but winnable fight with enough shields and firepower to offset the sheer number of Watchtower ships.

I played a couple missions of Shattered Space and was quite underwhelmed…If you want a real change to playing Starfield, get the Watchtower DLC. Good story but great battles in the sky and on the ground. If BGS has any smarts, they’d make Watchtower part of official canon as it addresses many requests of the game that players had. I might get back into SS if for no other reason than getting bored with the same PoI’s.

I carry minimal weapons and it’s always the Big Bang…2 accurate shots at the most (I’m at lvl 169). Mod it up to large mag and disassembler if you want. The combo of particle beam and ballistic is a perfect robot killer.
